Finally getting around to doing this post. My bag has not changed since 2015 with two exception, driver and putter. I’m still gaming my gear from Legacy. It’s hard to part with any of it, mostly because it’s a reminder of one of the greatest weeks in golf I have ever experienced, but changes are coming.
Driver - I switched to the XR16 for a couple of reasons. First I have always played a 9 or 9.5 degrees driver but had decided on a 10.5 in my previous driver, which didn’t work out well for me. So I decided to go back to a 9 and I’m very happy. I know the lead tape is not aesthetically pleasing to the eye and I hope to either find someone to do some hotmelting for me or will just do it myself.
Putter - I have always wanted a Scotty Cameron and my wife surprised me with one for my birthday a couple months ago. Feels like butter, nothing more I can say.
I do have some future plans as I just picked up a Callaway GBB 3 wood from Callaway Pre Owned that was advertised as used but looked brand new when I got it. Just need to get a hold of a certain shaft for it and this will be in my bag.
