Where do these and the OG Forged Tec fall in terms of iron sizes you have gamed in the past?

Very comparable. I’m not a fan of a long bladed iron. Here is pic of the OG and the tour. Tour actually looks bigger.

I’ve bought about five sets in my head so far this year, lol. My local shop, who thankfully humors me, made the great point that I have a little time make a call given this whole winter thing. So been testing and asking questions of folks in a handful of threads.
Just bringing this one back up to the top. These are the best irons I've ever hit. My primary focus has been on getting my GIR up and my last 7 rounds have been just that. 61% yesterday led to a 77 with a double bogey. Don't see this set going anywhere any time soon.
They truly are special.

It's really something when you hit a bad shot and it's just of the green where you can get up & down.
You feel like you don't deserve it.
Then you playing partners start asking "how did that shot end up there?" when they are 1st to the green.
Had some Nippon Modus 3 105S shafts lying around, so I installed them in my LIMIT3D irons. Haven’t tried that combo before, so I’m really curious to see how they turn out. Modus usually works well with my swing.

I had a PM asking about these compared to the 3DP I have been playing prior, and they really are different beasts. Even then, I went ahead and tried to get two shots with a 9i that were as close as I could in terms of delivery and more importantly swing speed. I also made sure they were clean shots.
Yes, the CB is 42* where the Limit3d/3DP is 40*, BUT I think that makes the story even more interesting, especially for the technology deniers out there.
The Staff Model are as PURE of players CB irons that I have hit in a long while. They feel amazing. Spin well. Launch well. Also they hit very traditional numbers for me carry wise.
The 3DP are tech heavy as all THP'ers know.

I think after a few sim sessions, these are getting the call for the first round of the year in just under a month in Mexico. This entire year is going to be a battle between the TiFs and the Tours. But I can't keep having two sets of irons in my bag every round I play. So I'm making the call and rolling with these after some of the things I've seen in the sim the past couple times I've been out.
