Cobra FF33 Adaptor users, what have you got your cog settings set at? Are you Flat, Upright, or Neutral Lie Angle?

What setting are you using, and what is your typical ball flight/shot shape with that setting?

I'm on a journey through the settings, and am curious what people settled at, and what their shot shape is like?

Upright

Different for every single club.

Played all season at 1.4 degrees upright on my fairway woods. That was the setting the Cobra rep recommended during fitting. It worked out very well for me.

Only my driver is FF33, and the setting I'm using is G3. Neutral, but down 2 degrees in loft.

2* upright, standard loft. E1

Strictly there to try to limit the fade

A2, so flat .3 and delisted .7 degrees. But I’m prob going to tinker with it a bit since im getting a bit too much fade currently.

This. I'm 2° flat (A5) on my Max 5W and 1.4° upright (D2) with the Max-K driver.

Fairways is to take out the draw bias. Driver is to take out the fade.

Have a DS Adapt 4 Hybrid and I have it in a flat setting

I appreciate your willingness to provide the reasons why.

It (FF33) is the best damn thing in a while. I've gone from A5 to D2, that's 3.4° of lie angle in my driver as my swing evolves. And it allowed me to get a FW that I wanted for the shape and other properties and nullify the draw bias.

G1 : -1 loft, 1 upright. Ball flight with this setting is straightish, a baby fade to baby draw but favoring the fade.

How I got there has been a long journey. I went from higher lofted, to higher lofted and flat, to higher lofted and upright, and finally to lower lofted and upright. Swing changes, am I right? But if I’m gonna commit to the change I need my equipment to suit the change or it’ll be an uphill battle. My swing up and down the bag doesn’t need to change anymore. I have no doubt the FF33 adapter made the change quicker. Still painful on the scores, but quicker.

Slightly upright or neutral depending on the day. I have no problem with A1 with my MaxK

The man himself José Miraflor set me to B6 (1.4° up loft, 1.4° upright) trying to get rid of the wipey fade. Extra loft because he wants me focusing on closing the clubface instead of trying to help it up

I mean, not sure there is a better expert here…

I've stayed neutral and that's probably a mistake

What’s your typical flight? Have you ever modified the collar?

The most flat setting.

My 9* Max-K is D1 (0.7 higher loft, 1.7 upright)

My 10.5 Max-K “Thriver” is C4 (slightly flat, slightly up) - fairway finder, I want mostly straight or slight fade

7 wood is H4 (-1.4 flat and down) since I tend to hook my fairway wood if I miss and it is my longest wood so I play it strong like a 6 wood.

6 hybrid is in B3 (barely strong, barely flat)

Different for each club:
Max-D driver is at H4 so 1.4 flat
3HF at D1 so 1.7 upright
7 wood A1 so standard lie
9 wood is at G3 so standard lie
6 Hybrid is at B4 1.4 flat.

Are those all just from testing different settings at the range?
