TPT from my ADAPT MAX-KWhat shaft you got this baby in?
It didn’t want to leave the midline/target
NOT what I expected given contact on a few of them.
It’s true. Better results than I ever deserve.Better result than you deserved.

Man stop it. If the LS is this good at correcting shots what are the forgiving drivers like? Not feeling great as it's been a really crummy day so far, but I wanted to get some swings in on the LS. Warmed up with a PW then went right into driver.
Before data, the immediate thought is holy low spin batman. The LS 9.0 set to A1 with standard weight orientation was LOW spin as you will see but fast given I didn't do warmups with driver. The interesting one to me is shot three because it was a pretty hefty toe ball miss, in the ADAPT LS it would have 100 percent been DOA. But here, it wasn't... and the line it kept was not what I anticipated.

So, I was going to do nothing more, but then I got curious. I moved the loft to +2/0 (C7) AND put the heaviest weight in the back. Ball speeds reacted accordingly, but the drastic change in spin, launch, and peak were fun to see. Clearly this is me taking setting to the extreme other end of things, but man, what is there to not like here? Especially when you look at shot 6 which was LOW on the face, spin jumped, but not crazily and it was straight as can be.

BIG quick thoughts, directionally this makes no sense to me. These were NOT great swings, but the reactions I got off the face directionally were clearly REALLY exciting. Want to get it outside ASAP. If you have questions, fire away. Will also try to get out and do a real warmup in the days before I leave for the PGA show and get another set.
It immediately makes me want to order an X.Man stop it. If the LS is this good at correcting shots what are the forgiving drivers like?
Safe assumption! I tried to convince myself I'd wait until I get to hit them, but what fun is that?? I've been so excited about this release for a few months.I just assumed you had already haha
Spoiler alert, it can, and they did.Really excited to see how the OPTM fares in the hands of players.
The Max K is such a special driver, hopefully the OPTM can take it all to another level!
How would you compare the forgiveness from your max k?Not feeling great as it's been a really crummy day so far, but I wanted to get some swings in on the LS. Warmed up with a PW then went right into driver.

We did not hit them at the event. So, silly question..... how many Morgan Cup members had seen/swung one of these prior to the announcement this morning?
We saw the presentation. Didn’t get to see the actual clubs. So, silly question..... how many Morgan Cup members had seen/swung one of these prior to the announcement this morning?
It’s kind of apples to kumquats honestly, this is still every bit an LS head, and the MOI of the two aren’t in the same sphere of existence hahaHow would you compare the forgiveness from your max k?
Are you able to post weights of the driver heads?
This thing is fast. I am curious if you switch the weights it will optimize this a little bit more. As is I see nothing wrong for us mere mortals, but the lunatic in me thinks you've got some speed and yards left to find here. Not feeling great as it's been a really crummy day so far, but I wanted to get some swings in on the LS. At the Morgan Cup, I asked a very similar question. I am someone how initially had trouble closing the face. I solved that issue with a shaft change, and that allowed me to time up my swing better. the Max K became a weapon for me since then.
That said, and to your point, Jose suggested I try the X and not just jump straight into the K blind. The OPTM X is going to be closer to the DS-Adapt K than the DS-Adapt X was, if that makes sense. So for people like me, and it seems like you, the OPTM X may be in that magical goldilocks zone for us.
Agreed, I’m definitely eager to tinker around with things. This thing is fast. I am curious if you switch the weights it will optimize this a little bit more. As is I see nothing wrong for us mere mortals, but the lunatic in me thinks you've got some speed and yards left to find here.
I want to hit the LS for funsies, but the X is probably more my speed.Agreed, I’m definitely eager to tinker around with things.
Also curious how much I can get out of it when loose and not in jeans, hahaha
Honestly, I want the X as well.I want to hit the LS for funsies, but the X is probably more my speed.
The LS with the new Chrome Tour X or the VS Black would be so much fun. But I fear that it would be like riding a dragon for me. I have come to love "boring" golf of being in or near the fairway.I want to hit the LS for funsies, but the X is probably more my speed.
