Not at all crazy! I just want to make sure I have some room for those sweet sweet 3DPTs.That's what I'm sayin! Is it crazy to go 3w, 3h, 7w?

(it’s better)I too am in serious ponder mode on these. My DS Adapt Max 5 wood with a Tensei Blue 65 X link regular flex shaft is RIDICULOUSLY good. It is a point and shoot as it gets in the top end of my bag. So good that i am thinking of dropping my 4 hybrid and adding a 7 wood. I wish I could still find a 7w head I could order with a custom shaft (I am a lefty) but to no avail. Curious to see if this latest iteration is as forgiving and straight as the last version.

Seem like a very arbitrary rule to prevent yourself from having the best bag setup possible.Yes, only 4 of them
I was NOT going to move from my ADAPT X 7W this year, not a chance, but, trade ins got me and there was a OPTM X 7 on the shelf, so, the battle happened.Oh man.... I feel a "Here, take my money!!!!" event coming on.
ITs just my rule. I don't like a bag full of headcovers and I happen to hit long irons just fine. Its not a rule for everyone.Seem like a very arbitrary rule to prevent yourself from having the best bag setup possible.
And fun Headcovers too.Seem like a very arbitrary rule to prevent yourself from having the best bag setup possible.
I hit long irons great and I still took them out of the bag because there are easier/better/more fun options available. It’s just my rule. I don't like a bag full of headcovers and I happen to hit long irons just fine. It’s not a rule for everyone.
I'm strongly leaning this way myselfRight, so Driver / MD / "6W" / 5H - 5 headcovers (not counting putter)
Max def giving me some UW vibes.Lots of good info in here so far. I got a look at these yesterday but haven't hit them yet. Seems like I'd be dumb to not get a 7W.
Little comparison shot of 5 woods. Max is slightly more shallow.

Hit the 7W with Powercore White 8TX three times over two rounds today.
One off of a tee, hit the fairway.
Two into a par 5 from 229 and 228, missed the green, but both shots were over forced carry water on two sides, and I covered it easily to end up behind the green on both shots
It’s useful.![]()
Love to hear this!
Makes me want to just go ahead and blind buy the X 7 wood, but not sure what shaft. I'll probably just stick my RB 63 S in it, but if I have to pay for a shaft anyway, and a LINQ PC isn't an option, not sure what else to get. I could get the prior version LINQ Blue, which I like, but too much love for the PC. Need Cobra to get their act together of offer the PC.It’s useful.
Best of all, no left miss with the weight forward in the toe side port.
In fact, that fact hurt me on the two shots into 5’s as I was playing for the draw I got out of the ADAPT
The forward toe side weight port changes everything for me. Took a club that I really really loved, and improved it. These look so similar to my buddies Aerojet 5W and I really like having a swing of that club, he has the Kai'li Dark Waves 70X in it. For whatever reason I am able to get that club moving left easier than almost anything I've ever hit.Lots of good info in here so far. I got a look at these yesterday but haven't hit them yet. I don’t think I’ll hit it that far, but I’m definitely looking forward to having a 7w so I can elevate the ball enough to land soft enough to hold a green on a par 5 approach, or long par 3or4.One off of a tee, hit the fairway.

Have you considered and/or hit the LS fairway woods? I'm curious how they compare to the X. I'm hoping I'll get a chance to hit the woods some more this weekend.Hit the X 5W today. Had the heavy weight back. It was really damn good!
Just a getting to know you session. Fitting wise would have liked the 70X shaft instead of 60X. Heavy weight also probably needs to go forward.
All shots hit off the deck with CTX ball. Trackman IO was being weird today and missed some club head data or gave weird readings. I don't believe those 2 shots with lower BS and low spin.

I can move a 7w a little bit. HahahahaI don’t think I’ll hit it that far, but I’m definitely looking forward to having a 7w so I can elevate the ball enough to land soft enough to hold a green on a par 5 approach, or long par 3or4.
