Cobra OPTM Fairway Woods and Hybrids

Any opinion on the OPTM LS 3 wood
Same as I had last year, with how good the X’s are, I don’t see why ams would need the LS

BUT.

If you want LOW spin and FAST like Ti fairways are, it’s a cannon.

I put a ton of spin on everything I hit, unfortunately

I simply love what Cobra has done with their Fit 33 as my OPTM X driver is definitely my gamer for 2026 and for the 1st time in over 2 years I'm going with the OPTM X 7W instead of a hybrid. Now if only the weather would corporate and Spring would hurry up and get here

You’re going to really enjoy it

Throwing one more challenge at the 7W today, I fully expect it to survive, and if/when it does, I’m done thinking about other clubs in this 7 spot.

But, I wouldn’t be doing my due diligence for my game if I didn’t at least take some looks.

That said, with what this has been the last 11 rounds over 14 days, it’s absolute nails.

My choice for fairways wood in the Classic was incredibly easy. Absolute nails off the deck.

OPTM LS in 14.5 stock. Might need to explore a slightly open face to get it ripping dead down the line.

You hit it so far it is looking for the ball ;) 😂

FF33 can dial it in.

I'm gaming a TSi2 7 wood currently that I love. I left it sitting out in the sim area and one of the kids put a giant gauge on it. Guess that gives me the green light for a new 7 wood :)
OPTM X 7W green light!

It’s revolutionary, and still SO under appreciated.
Takes about 2 minutes to understand how the numbers work and then it's easy town for any adjustment. I pretty much have only been using the Titleist Sure Fit and FF33 is FAR SUPERIOR and easier to use. I've messaged Rick Shiels a few times for being such an idiot and hatting on FF33 for being too much for him to understand. It's literally the easiest to use.

Another year and once again Cobra fairways are criminally under talked about to this point.

The Adapt were phenomenal, but these really are improved from there.

Yes, im going to talk about the weight port placement in the X, AGAIN, as it opens up a whole new world of fitting potential for more varieties of needs/swings.

The 7W has been beyond plug and play for me so far, which is wild because I was convinced coming into the year it would be the one club I didn’t adopt a new model for, but I was wrong.

All that said, I’m giving the 7 one more challenge of a better fit than stock Qi4D 7 either this week or when I get back from vacation.

Why if it’s so good? Because it’s fun!

Is the Cobra OPTM 3HF essentially a 4 wood? I need something in my bag to even out my bag that goes between my mini driver (mainly a tee club) and my 7 wood. Thanks!

My understanding is the 3HF is a 4 wood loft with the shaft length matching a 3 wood.

Okay, so basically I can play my 3-wood shaft from my 3-wood that I’ve benched (I don’t really need it off the tee anymore with my mini driver, and off the deck is too hit-or-miss) and play that shaft in the 3HF, essentially making a 4-wood. Good to know!

Yep. All 3HF or 3HL clubs are 4 woods.

It’s criminal, the lack of chatter around these.

They’re better than Adapt, which were faaaaaaantastic.

I can’t wait for them to get into hands and the feedback to begin flowing.

don't tell @JDax but I'm toying with the idea of finding a 5H. Esp if I do end up throwing a 7W in the bag.

Twice yesterday I told myself, this is a shot for the new 7 wood…. When it gets here.

As a 5H user currently, I support this.
