Looks like there is going to be a new course breaking ground at Parker Road & 470

I‘m in Parker visiting family and played Red Hawk Ridge on Tuesday. I’m not familiar with you guys’ normal course conditions over here, but I thought it was in great shape, very lush and the greens were true and reasonably quick. First course I’ve ever played in Colorado, glad I got to play it.

I would’ve liked to have hooked up with a few of you for a round but it’s a busy trip and I’m heading back home Saturday morning. Hopefully next time I can block a little time out one day and get together with a few THP’ers.

RHR is one of my favorites. Unfortunately, the green fees are getting outrageous. Glad you enjoyed it.

I’m confused by her comment about it being the first sand based course in CO. Isn’t Ballyneal up jn Holyoke built on sand dunes? I’m wondering if she means sand greens. I hope not.
There isn’t a lot of information about the course. It looks like she was quoting the developers website about being “the first Colorado sand-based links course”. So maybe whoever wrote that doesn’t know that ballyneal exist? There were a couple of things said about aurora not approving any more golf courses but there was an existing deal in place before the moratorium so that might just be a really old statement.

I think we can safely assume it will not have sand greens.

Been in the works for some time. 10 minutes away and watch it be private.

Driving by it now coming home from a Murphy Creek Round.

Man it would have been great to play a round! Love Red Hawk, simply beautiful course. Very hard to get on so glad you were able to.

That’s the one thing I have noticed is that all the courses in Parker are private

interesting

Apparently the course is already designed.

Better be a clear day for them to see the tippy top of Pikes Peak :ROFLMAO:

That parkway isn't built yet, but the bike path overpass is that crosses Parker Road. Massive apartment complex on the bottom left and that road annex is already there.

Also $600K starting point for homes there....riiiiggghhht. The farthest end to the right backs up to 2M+ homes.

Where are you seeing private? I don’t see that on their website?
