Cancelled my tee time at Eisenhower Silver last night as the rain was falling, but woke up this morning, saw clear skies and booked an earlier time! Hope y'all enjoy your weekend rounds where ever you're playing. 😎

Play well! You haven't learned the CO pattern yet young grasshopper :ROFLMAO:. Will probably be that course where I swing the clubs again mid September :(

Wait, there's a pattern? 😉

Freaking pumped about this Alphard cybercart. And yes, having 'cyber' in the name was a major draw for me!

Ugh we’re entering fall punching and sanding. Just played common ground and the greens were bumpy.

Free to whoever wants them. If you're outside the Springs message me your address and I'll drop them in the mail.

Trying to get in some courses with my dad around end of the month, early October. He plays to a 12 hcp and is 75yo. He wants to stay in Colorado. He lives in Edwards, I am north Denver.

This is the current list, what would you make your top 2 priorities? I haven't played any of them. Any others I should add? No particular order to these.

Riverdale dunes
Bear dance
Tpc Colorado
Redlands Mesa
Pole creek
Lakota links
Highland Meadows

Bear Dance for sure, everyone else can chime in on the others.

If your dad is visiting from out of state Fossil Trace is a fun course to play. It’s a unique golf experience.

Appreciate, he is in mtns. Fossil trace is one of the few nice courses I have played before. Probably that plus Murphy, gvr, Omni.

Pole Creek and Lakota Links might be cold and even snowy in October….or it could be beautiful. Never know that time of year.

I need to figure out my gapping now that I have taken lessons and purchased new clubs. Are there any public ranges in the Denver Metro area besides Green Valley Ranch that have Trackman? I know I can use the indoor facility at Foothills, but I prefer hitting where I can see the ball flight.

I can’t think of anywhere other than gvr with a trackman range.

It’s purely a preference thing but for gapping I would 100% rather hit my own balls into a screen than range balls and see the flight. I don’t trust the adjustment algorithms they use to convert range ball flight to actual golf ball.

I did a gapping analysis at True Spec in Hangar Golf Club, which is indoor, but it was helpful.

Dunes is in excellent condition, not sure when they are punching and sanding, rhey recently did that on the holes that are out of action on the Knolls.

I can't provide anything on the rest of your list.

Riverdale Dunes was always one of my favorites growing up in the Denver area.

This is why I bit the bullet and bought my own launch monitor. Can go to any range and get information :)

I believe Indian Tree also has Trackman Range

There's a local guy here in Littleton that works out of his garage and offers gapping analysis as part of his services. Hangar Golf Club sounds like fun but I'm not sure I want to drive across Denver.

Hmmm...tempting, I can even set something up in the backyard. The new Flightscope Mevo looks interesting.

They don't mention it on their website, but I think I'll go check it out anyway. That used to be one of our favorite courses when the wife and I were playing regularly (around 41-42 years ago before kids).

Thanks for the info!

I went with the sc4 pro from voice caddie. Very happy so far, and will be testing out the sim golf part this winter.

I have the rapsodo mlm2 and for hitting into a net the ball dot balls give very accurate spin data.

I am curious to see some long term reviews of the mevo 2 with rct balls.

Sorry, I was wrong. It's lakewood country club that has Trackman range

OK, a big thanks to @Dougie for hooking @bruhman13 with a Thorncreek round.

We are locked in for Oct 12 at 12:40pm. 2 spots available on the foursome.

Let's get the northern meetups and golf going, especially with Josh hopefully moving north next year.
