After doing a little analysis, I decided not to take Kuch. It was a tough call.

I built a spreadsheet! Not really, but that is what I do for a living :)

I looked at the dollars from previous years and figured out where he would need to place to unseat people in the top five (assuming he is not in the top 5). In the end, I gambled that my players would be in the top 5 or better and he would be out of the top 10.

How many people do you think turned in the roster with these players?

Phil, Tiger Westwood

That was almost my pick, but then Phil got dropped, and I picked up Louis

I'm guessing 40%? I don't know why, but I just didn't see Phil doing much this weekend.

Me too smalls, I'll stick with my sleeper strategy in these contests.
edit: Haven't actually turned in the picks yet, I just know these guys won't be included.

YOu took Ben Hogan, Jack Nicklaus, and Bobby Jones?
I love it !

I went with some sleepers so I want it to be a surprise. I play Bridgestone balls so I got to have some luck in this one :golf3:

I'm looking for Young Tom Morris to make a zombie-esque charge at the weekend.

Think I'll play this competition for some fun. :D

I actually took Luke, KJ, and Kuch.

All pretty solid. None have ever been tooooo shaky lately. Kj is usually in for one BIG hole a tournament, lets hope that comes on thursday

I would have thought that everybody would be taking Kuchar. But the percentages are not as high as suspected. In most tournament events like this, you have to have the winner to win. Not sure that is the case if Kuchar finishes top 5 with double dollars. Should be a great contest.
It's a trick...and I'm not falling for it. He isn't even going to make the cut

Thanks for another great contest.

I could use a new wedge. I think. I could use something... (maybe you could give away lessons next time? haha)
