Ah no. But, when I saw cork hat, I immediately thought it was going to be this. Yes, this is real. Because Australia is the land of flies, this was a solution to keep them off your face.

Is it a fashion thing or is there some functionality? I've never heard of a cork hat.

The hats I do have tend to get sweat stained pretty quickly. Would the cork prevent that, absorb the sweat, or not?
