Going in July, looking for a few rounds. Don't know much about area for golf. I know RTJ trail is close?

We are staying in golf shores for a week so anything in range is fair game.

Thanks.

It's been many years, but we used to play Lost Key in Perdido Key.

I can’t speak to current conditions, but the courses at Craft Farms were fun when I played them and Kiva Dunes was pretty interesting.

I just played Lost Key a couple weeks ago and enjoyed it very much. Last summer I played The Peninsula which I really liked and Kiva Dunes which I liked also. Tim

Kiva, Peninsula and Craft Farms are the best courses closest to Gulf Shores.

In Point Clear, about a 30-35 minute drive, you have the Dogwood course at Lakewood on the RTJ Golf Trail. It is a very good course. There is another course there but I believe it is closed for renovations.

Rock Creek is a little north of Point Clear in Fairhope. It’s been a couple of years since I played it but it is my favorite course in L.A. It’s an excellent track and not too long.

Tin Top in Bon Secour, just outside Gulf Shores, has great seafood.

Any opinions on timber Creek and glenlakes? $100 a round is pretty high for a couple guys with me, might balance with a second cheaper option.

Not looking for anything overly hard, just good golf on the coast. Good suggestions, Thanks guys.

I played Lakewood last week and it is a really great course. Only the Dogwood is open right now. I will be back there in July. When in July are you going? Glen lakes was a good course too. Been a couple years since I played there though. I am also looking at Timber Creek and Rock Creek are two I am also looking at. Tim

We made a tee time at Kiva Dunes....might squeeze in another but only having essentially 4 days and with kids is making it tough.
