I def wish I’d been patient and done this.Maybe I should scotch guard mine? Don't know if that will help much with stains though. Might help some with dew/moisture.
What color do you have Jon?

I never had a wet foot issue, just the staining. And I’m sure I can scrub them, and knowing you had to and it worked is a relief, but that’s going to suck after every use.Did you get some pics up yet @Jman ? I got the light colored in December and while they did stain, they came right out with a bit of brushing with soap and water. I bet you got a bad pair which is to bad. Haven't had the wet feet issues as far as the water proofing goes.

If I get them clean, which from what @Snickerdog thank goodness says it’ll work, I’ll be spraying mine too.Light grey as well. I've only worn them for winter rounds in Florida so far. Too muddy locally for nice shoes in the spring. Think I'm gonna give 'em a good cleaning and scotch guard them this weekend.
Only thing I wonder is if this will effect the breathability of the shoe?Light grey as well. I've only worn them for winter rounds in Florida so far. Too muddy locally for nice shoes in the spring. Think I'm gonna give 'em a good cleaning and scotch guard them this weekend.
I just used some dial soap and a soft bristle brush. If I get them clean, which from what @Snickerdog thank goodness says it’ll work, I’ll be spraying mine too.
Appreciate it. Also appreciate you backing up that I’m not off my rocker with the stains.I just used some dial soap and a soft bristle brush.

Legends are awesome. They're already waterproofed to some extent. I'd think that would just protect the woven part. If that's all it takes these are a win for me. So comfortable. When I'm finally ready to drop the required scratch, I definitely want a pair of legends.

I have the white pair and the stain issue isn’t just you, mine have shown a good bit of dirt and stains unfortunately. I’ve cleaned them once With good results but I keep wearing them strictly for the Comfort.Appreciate it. Also appreciate you backing up that I’m not off my rocker with the stains.
I just give mine a quick scrub with the toothbrush and warm water and a bit of soap after the round and have good results cleaning them up. They do stain a bit but I have been able to keep them clean. Comfort wise they are top notch for sure.I wore my Moneymakers today and they have slid into the #1 spot for me. Super comfortable and provide some of the best traction for a spikeless shoe I’ve owned. I know others have had issues with wear or stains, and while not discounting the per experiences, I’ve combated that a bit by wiping them down throughout my round and once my round is over. It’s not something any golfer should do for a shoe at this price point, but that’s what I do to keep them clean and it helps my OCD.
