Do you enjoy practice?

Actual practice. Not just hitting a bunch of range balls.

I lived it. Best time to work on trick shots and Face contact. And I do mean Lived. I spent so much time at my local Range in MD. It had everything from Fairway to Greens Bunkers, and large Sings for yardage Markers. So fun to hit those with all kinds of shots.

I like practicing but if I have the option I will almost always play. I tend to keep practice sessions short so that I focus as I want it to be meaningful.

I practice on the course, so yes I enjoy it.

No you're not.

I'm the same and that's why I suck.
lol well I have never been a big practice guy and these past few years my game has been as good as its ever been. Finished 2024 at a 4.9 and off to a decent start this year at a 4.8

I would assume practice would improve things for me, I just dont have the desire to? I dunno its tough to explain lol

I do not and one of the reasons why I haven’t dove into lessons.

This is a great point to bring up. The biggest reason for me not ever taking lessons

My home course recently installed a driving range, and it's just 10 yards away from the 1st hole tee. My Monday golf buddy and I like to hit a few balls there before playing our round. We're both upgrading our clubs and it's great fun--and prudent--to test out new gear before the shots count.

My last practice session was a bucket of balls at the range, and close to 90 minutes chipping and putting at the practice green. Nobody ever uses this particular practice green, so it was blissful solitude and total focus for the entire, very productive session.

I like practicing if there is a nice short game area and I have space to myself. I hate crowded practice areas.

I have a net and launch monitor in my garage now so its nice being able to practice and record my swing at home.

I go to the range or practice green almost everyday for lunch hour. I'm not saying I enjoy it everyday, but it's more enjoyable than sitting in a lunch room where everyone is staring at their phones.

I love hitting balls, and I love working on chipping/pitching. Fun, relaxing, and I actually see the results transfer to the course which is really rewarding. Putting not so much, which is why I’m looking into getting a putting area set up at the house so I can do it in small bursts while still hanging with the family and the dog.

What I would really like is a better short game area. The 20-50 yd pitches are hard to find.
So much this. I would even expand it to 20-80 yd range. Especially since my fitter told me not to practice those shots with range balls if I want to keep my grooves intact. I ignored this advice on my last 58 and paid the price.

I enjoy practicing by playing golf.

Hitting balls on a range....not interested

In a meant to be humous way, any non pro who hits a golf ball might be missing some marbles. My Wife thinks my golf addiction is way beyond repair. 1-5 hours everyday....depending.

Me, I love to practice. Actually I just love to hit golf balls. Practice or play, or doesn't matter. Even the score doesn't really matter anymore. Its now a by product, that takes care of itself.

In order to have the lessons take hold practice is going to be required. Maybe some day when I have more time, but at that point I might be too old to care. 🤣

I do. Last night I had grandparents watching my kids, wife was away, so I went out and just chipped and putted for an hour before league. I love it. I just wish I had more time for it.

I rebuilt my garage and bought a Skytrak. I think I like practice.

I enjoy practice but I practice on course. Bashing balls at the range, especially off mats? I am no Vijay Singh.

Love practice :) it's just fun if you make it that.

I enjoy practice IF I am working on something that I am attempting to change with my swing or putting stroke. Once I have it “dialed in“ so to speak - I tend to back off from practice.

Practice is a lot more fun when it is effective and leads to better play on-course.
Yeah, I enjoy practice.

Crazy no, I think that is more the default than anything.

But....I do enjoy practice.

Yes I usually enjoy it, especially or usually because progress was made. If not, not so enjoyable.
