You want to roll the ball back?
Less clubs?
Harsher penalties?
Ban mallet putters?
No alcohol on the course?
6 hole courses?
Shorts for professionals?

Let it be known.

I would love to see max driver size reduced. #comeatmebro

I wish courses more harshly enforced slow groups. If a team has a two hole gap and groups are building up behind them someone on the course needs to actually move them forward. I've only seen this happen once.

I'm also a fan of 12 hole courses. 6 on the front and 6 on the back. For weekends especially. Courses could designate which holes aren't in play that day.

Could rotate for maintenance then too. Or have 3 different 6 hole courses.

Mandatory shots on the first hole.

For tournaments too?

I'm all about controversy! I could stand to play a smaller driver, but I can't say I'd lobby for it. I do think it would be cool to see someone escorted from the course for slow play and told not to return until they could speed up or allow players to play through.

Swim attire allowed!

Sure, as long as we’re also going to start throwing out the angry, impatient arseholes who “send a warning shot across the bow” by hitting into slow groups. There’s absolutely no place for that crap either.

Ladies days are dumb.....

Iron headcovers for all !!

No, for amateurs/weekenders. I think you'd attract a lot more people to the sport if it didn't take 5 hours to play during the times everyone is able to play.

Bring back the stymie.

Isn't that just validating slow play? 🤷‍♂️

I played 18 in 2:50 Saturday morning last week. 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

It needn't take longer than 4:30 ever barring weather delays, etc. That's like a very generous time, too. Honestly, you could set that to 4:00 and still have time left over.

Agree. Those people are way worse. Way way worse. If you tee off with someone clearly in range knowing that you will hit them to prove a point they should be kicked off the course. You can hurt someone doing that.

Everyone is out to have fun. Slow players don't bug me too much. Once a person has it happen to them once or twice they would learn to play ready golf and not look for balls for an eternity.

One of my groups I play with doesn't like to get out first thing and if we start at 10-12 4+ hour rounds is regular. 18 never takes me more than 3-3.5 since I am an early riser.

Drinking is better after the round.

Slow play is the course managements fault and not usually golfers.

Golf club, shaft, and ball manufacturers prefer a little confusion in the marketplace in order to sell more products. LoftUp, Real Deal Aftermarket Shafts, Diamond CSX/Star ProV1, and so on.

Spin is a good thing for most players.

I'm a firm believer that 14 clubs is too many, but i'm not so sure that is really "controversial". I play regularly with just 7 with no real difference in my scores, and i'm just a chop/hacker. I'm 100% certain that Tour pros could quickly adjust to being limited to 7 clubs and their scoring, like mine, would not change. #Fact
