I have a nylon and brass brush set hanging by a small bungee on my bag, and in 2020, took off the brass brush, after purchasing Cleveland CBX2's. I don't want to ruin the micro-grooves with the brass brush. Keep the end of my towel wet during a round, and use the nylon brush as needed. I play "hybrid irons", and the grooves are not as deep as conventional irons, so the damp towel works well, and the same for my fairway wood. Clubs get a bath a few times a season, with a soft nylon scrub brush, and grips too...

I used the brass wire brush on my Ping G15's. Now with my PXG Xcor2 I only use nylon bristle brush.

Wire on one side and Nylon on other.

I use a wet towel and a nylon brush. I will use a metal spike for the grooves but The thought of scratching my irons up with a iron brush makes sad.

The amount of metallurgical ignorance in this thread gives me a headache. Guys, it is 100% IMPOSSIBLE for a brass wire brush to scratch a steel club head, whether it be a forged carbon steel club or cast stainless. Titanium is even harder than steel, so no need to worry about scratching titanium irons either. Brass WILL NOT dull your grooves or scratch the faces of your clubs. It could do some damage to a painted finish, but that's it. It WILL NOT harm your irons and wedges whatsoever. Rant over.

I use a water bottle with nylon stiff brushes.

I use this because I’m lazy

Yes I do. The brush I have attached to the golf bag is one of the wire brushes from our lead lighting tool kit. It is perfect to keep the iron grooves clean in all weather.

Got a tiny one with both nylon and wire and I use both.
