Do You Wear Cotton?

Nope. The cotton era has gone bye-bye in my golf apparel. Far too many good performance fabrics available that are cooler and don't retain moisture.

I might consider it in the winter, but I think I've gotten rid of all my cotton polos, so I just wear multiple layers.

Cotton shorts on the course in the summer = swamp ass that would put Lucas Glover to shame.

It's been so hot and humid here that it doesn't matter what you are wearing. I was a pair of lightweight, breathable shorts the other day and it looked like I jumped into the pool wearing them.

No
Performance blend shirts and shorts for moisture wicking and help cooling

Nope!

Absolutely not.

Paging @Sox_Fan

I have gotten past that and now wear a lot more gross polyester than cotton. Plus, 95% of my cotton stuff is too big for me now since I am older and shriveling up to nothing.

No. I don’t wear cotton anymore.

I wear a cotton undershirt but need the rest of my apparel to breathe a bit more so no.
Genuine question. If you are wearing a cotton undershirt, that doesnt wick at all, it wouldnt really matter, right?

No definitely not. Need my gear to breathe.

I have 1 cotton golf shirt that I wear on cooler days (like 65 or lower).
I wear it b/c it's a xmas gift and a MANU shirt that my sister in law got me while in England last fall.
Otherwise, I'm wearing only to work occasionally.

I try to avoid pure cotton on the golf course.

Shorts maybe, if it's cooler weather. 70's or below. And not humid.

Only those performance polos for me. Cotton shorts are only for working out or sleeping in

While playing? Absolutely not.

It does because I wear a tank style undershirt so arms, shoulders, upper back and chest it's still important.

No cotton on the course for me.

Yes
I sweat through anything, so I’d rather wear cotton
Cotton shorts. Cotton shirts. I like the pima cotton offerings from Peter millar, original penguin

Not at all.

I haven't in years. So many other better materials to wear out there, especially when it's hot & humid.

Nope. All apparel worn on the course is some type of synthetic designed for athletic performance of some type.

Absolutely not. I would be a sweaty mess and I do not have the discipline to not shrink it in the laundry

on occasion

Generally not in the heat of summer but I wear a lot of cotton during the winter. Polyester fleece kind of sucks IMO. I do have a few pairs of cotton drawstring shorts I wear also. I personally think the pendulum swung too far away from cotton. It’s a great fabric as long as humidity is not a huge factor.
