Do your remove your hat at the end of the round?

I do it out of respect to whoever I'm playing with. I don't have an issue if my playing partners don't take their hats off, friends or strangers.

I do, but if somebody doesn't it's no big deal. I do not do it with my regular group of coworkers though. We don't even shake hands though, we just walk off together.

Casting a shadow isn't the biggest leap. Nor walking on the line of a putt.

I've no issue with the cap thing, provided that's where the line is drawn. But I don't get to define everyone's line, and everyone sees things differently.

I never used to, but now that I'm in a retirement community, it's the norm.

I'm talking about shaking hands on the final hole. As far as drinks or food in the clubhouse, that depends entirely on what course I'm at, and I'll generally follow the lead of others already inside.

this is going to sound contradicting because while i am one who generally likes anything which preserves common courtesy , respect, and etiquettes which i think severely lack these days....I dont usually take off my hat at end of round. I dont think its disrespectful on the golf course because its imo just part of the attire of the game.
I feel most people who take it off are those who usally wear a hat most all the time anywhere or at least a whole lot even while not golfing. I dont ever wear hats at all anywhere. So Im not used to taking it off for a handshake because I never wear one anywhere else and most often forget. But again its part imo of the golf attire. The only other place Id wear it is on a beach.
