So some products are announced and instantly available

Some are announced, but might not be available for weeks or month.

Do you prefer one or the other?
Is there a certain length of time where it starts to become a negative?

Not really.

I think it would matter more if it wasn’t the dead of winter when most releases happen.

I prefer simultaneous.

And most are in some way. They may not have them available on their website or certain venues, but anyone with an account will usually be able to get your order in.

There are a couple that definitely split announcement and availability far apart though, and I don't like it at all. I'm over it pretty quickly.

looking at the $2100 Cobra MB 3Ds now......mmmmmmm

I'm not going to lie it is annoying as hell you get a release and have to wait 30 days.

It annoys me a bit as I am impatient for example - It is killing me I am getting all this info about Chrome Tour Balls but can not try them myself

But I am still going to by them on the 30th when they are in stores so it must not annoy me to much

Matter: Not really

Annoy me when I can't grab it immediately after reading about it: Absolutely

Yes. If something gets announced but then I have to wait awhile for the release I forget and lose interest.

I think if there is an official announcement the clubs should be available within 2-3 weeks in this industry. For something like cars, it seems very different as the pre-order cycle is a lot longer

For golf clubs if an announcement was made and they weren't available like 6 months. I wouldn't say i'd lose interest but it wouldn't affect me in any way.

I know there is likely a new TM CB coming out this year but probably not until like July. I am not going to wait for that

I prefer that it's instantly available when it's launched. I'm impatient - if I see something new, shiny and fun, I want it now. If I have to wait for a month I'm probably either over it or have already found something else that was available immediately.

I don't typically order as soon as it's announced so no it doesn't bother me at all. Now if I was someone who pre-orders as soon as something hits, then yeah it would probably annoy the hell out of me but...

I would always prefer they are announced and available, but I get it with the way the world works these days. As long as I'm not waiting months, it's OK.

No.

Not really...it's like a cooling off period..lol

I don’t mind either way. I’m not usually able to get up and go right out to try something if it’s available on announcement anyways, so doesn’t make too big of a difference for me.

I want stuff to be available ASAP. So I would prefer day it releases, it releases.

I'm not to worried about a 3-4 week wait especially November - January as my volume of on course golf is low. I would love to get anything new in the bag, and understood before March when I'm likely to get back out on the course.

During the summer months I'd probably be a little more impatient as I'd be keen to put any changes in quickly to take advantage of the season.

I haven't thrown a toddler tantrum because I can't have something right away for quite some time.

I'd prefer the product be available at the time of announcement because if I want it I want to get it now, not at the end of the month or later.

I prefer to be able to order right away even if it’s just a preorder window. But it doesn’t really deter me if it’s something I’m interested in.

Yes. It bothers me.

Bothers me even more when some things are released for differing parts of the world and not available elsewhere until much later.

It used to bug the hell out of me and nothing to do with purchasing, but more to get my hands on it and see it for myself

THP has gotten really good with articles and pictures where that has gone down quite a bit. Add that I am not so quick to swap out clubs in my bag and I have become more patient

I would prefer it to be available in 1-3 days

Yes, dont make me wait! Understand build a buzz, but I love an announcement that is available right away.
