Does Your Handicap Travel Well?

last year i went to a new course and shot my first under 100 that was a mild stone for me

Much much better than it used to.
Almost always within 1-2 strokes of where I should be.

I find it travels rather well. When playing a new course I find myself playing just a bit more conservatively. More 3w’s off the tee and middle of the green approaches.
I find the more comfortable I become with a course the more risks I take. Usually resulting in higher scores the 2nd, 3rd time around.

I always play better on courses once I've played them a couple times. I feel better after I've found lines off the tee, where are the best areas to miss, etc... Bottom line my handicap does not travel well at new courses.
