Crazy weather this aft but we managed to avoid the rain! High wind made for some challenging shots. We just worked on my thought process and where I wanted to the ball to end up. I did get into a few bunkers so that gave us an opportunity to work on those shots. I Have had few shots within 80 yards that I had hit bad and over the greens. I did that this aft and he saw I was just standing up a bit trying to watch where it was going. I hit a few more with staying in the shot with great results. As long as the rain holds off this weekend I should get some range time in and maybe some course time Sunday.
That looks like an awesome time!!! Hope everyone had fun!

Made it out to play this afternoon. my wife and I went to a different and harder course than we usually play. I had a really good round today. I shot a 38-39 for 77 form the blue tees at AZ national. I started out with 6 straight pars! They had just punched the greens 5 days ago so they were a bit bumpy and the FWs were are in a few spots but it was a great day. I only had one drive get away from me and I swung way too hard. There was a big carry and the wind was in my face and I just could not get comfortable with it.
I have been struggling with par 3s and today all 4 were put on the green! I hit 12 FW from the tee and 12 greens which includes the par 3s!
This pic is the tee shot on hole 11. If you zoom in you can just see the yellow and black aiming pole. I aim for the space between the pole and the saguaro cactus to the left. We finished up right as the rain lightly started and played in under 4 hours which was nice!
I had 3 one putts and 1 three putt today. Still will be working hard in that are as there is always room for improvement.

Had a really good range session this evening! Spent some extra time working only hybrid off the deck as i was pushing it right more than I wanted. Spent about 20 minutes on the putting green after. Late 9 holes tomorrow aft is on deck!
Solid work!! That last round was pretty darn nice. Sounds like things are coming together nicely with the work you have been putting in. Love seeing it!! Keep it up!

Played the usual wed aft round and shots 38 with one birdie. My game is in a good place right now. If I can keep in this groove I will be really happy. I had some bad shots but they stayed in play and I recovered really well which helps so much. Tonight I spent the evening chipping for various lies as close as I could to the pin and putted those out. I then setup my putting mirror to work on my set up to really get the feel for the same set up each time. I worked those putts at about a 6ft length and then did a bunch of speed drills! It was relly strange how packed the range was tonight but just my wife and I were on the putting green.everyone else was hitting balls.

Pretty chill week so far.I did some chipping and putting practice with a small bucket of balls. Worked on bunker shots for awhile from the hard lie and also a raked fluffy lie. Today we played 9 on a par 62 course and I shot a 34 on the front 9. I had one birdie on a par 4 which was nice. I went long on two of the par 3s so I had to chip up and two putted both. The greens were really nice I was rolling the putter well with 3 one putts tonight.
Going out on course for a lesson on Friday aft pending any weather and have league on Saturday morning. Gym work has been consistent and really doing a lot of extra mobility each session now. Planning on playingSunday also asi go to Vegas next week for some fun!

Good stuff man! Really enjoy following your progress and work. Rolling putts well is awesome! Stoked you're going to get out to Vegas for some fun! That's awesome.

Didn’t get to go to my lesson this afternoon. They were having lightning warnings and high winds.So I called @ProV1 who got me on his course! I played the back 9 and shot a 33 on a par 31. I had one birdie on a short par 4 that I drive the green on. yes I left that eagle putt that was downhill short 
. I was -1 until hole 17 I tried going over the tree in the middle of the FW and just caught it. The started the beginning of the double bogey. If I had a chainsaw that tree would be removed
Great practice and really focused on picking my line on the tee and not swinging lol out at everything.

Played both days over the weekend and two very different rounds. I had a 94 and a 79 lol. Sat i had plenty of good shots just started off with everything locked right. Putting was off the greens were fast and hard to read. Still a fun day and I finally played a round of golf with @tanker337 which was a blast!
Sunday was an easier course. I got to the course early for warm up and when we checked in the starter said we should go now there was an opening. So no warm up straight to the tee and I sent one right down th e middle. Next shot to about 15 feet sink the putt for bird! Maybe I should forgo the warms up all of the time.
This aft we got out for chipping practice and some putting. I used my A wedge for chipping up Sunday with great results. I spent the majority of my practice time today using that from various locations trying to get the feel for the speed. I will be using that club more in that situation instead of my 60* wedge all of the time.
Practice for th e next few days then on vacation to Vegas for a long weekend!

Back from vacation and ready to get back to GD prep! The team is almost full and we have confirmation of going back to the Hideaway! Had a blast this weekend with my wife and friends. We ate a lot of great food and there were plenty of drinks consumed. Found a hidden bar at the cosmopolitan called ghost donkey which was fun. All of the drinks are tequila based. One of the restaurants we went to allow you to hold the crabs so i figured why not give it a go. I am allergic to shellfish but I’ll hold one lol. We had an amazing view from our room. The lightning show Thursday night was awesome. We always enjoy Vegas but always glad to be back.
Glad you enjoyed Vegas! Welcome home. I need to get on that grind bus with you asap. Just got the new sticks today so I’m in full MC prep mode. Looking forward to having Corey back this week too so I can get things dialed in quickly!
