Driver Length POLL

What length is your driver?

  • Over 46" (Bombs....bah bah bombs....Bombs. My testosterone came back! )

  • 45.75" to 46" (Kaboom baby! Canadan bombs or bust! )

  • 45.25" to 45.5" (I play mine just "short" of standard, as I'm a discerning player.)

  • 44.75" to 45" (I've settled here, to keep my ball in play)

  • 44" to 44.5" (a bit old school tour style works for me)

  • Less than 44" (who needs a 3 wood!)

  • I have no idea how long my driver is. I'm just a rebel without a cause..... don't @ me.

My driver is cut to 45" and feels good there.

Buuuut, I just succumbed to the mini-driver addiction this week and bought another one. 43.5" shaft and feels great. I hit both on Trackman, and the differences in ball speed and carry were so marginal that the mini driver is probably going to displace the big dog very shortly.
 
44.5 inches for me

My fitter opted for 44.75" for me, and I was fine with that. When I had previous drivers or built them, I was going with 44.5", so this wasn't far off.

45.5 because that's what my fitter said.
 
45 1/2 have been curious to raise that number a bit. Right now it's doing fabulous so will hold off with that experiment.
 
Whatever the stock length is in the G425
 
Stock 45.75" G400 Max but I'm thinking I may try .75-1"ish shorter.

Depends on shaft. Alta = 45 75”
Ping Tour shaft, Tensei Orange or other upgrade shaft are all 45.25”.
