Driver (or club) immediate hard pass

I don't like looking at double bend putter shafts.

Nothing annoys me , - Sound , Aesthetic, Colour etc … it’s an inert object that hits the ball ..
and used for seconds at a time .

Now o get the love of Brands and models , but lam more about resultant ball flight and score .

No one talks about how beautiful your hosel is or how shiny that shaft is …. post round laughs and drinks … its score and shots .

Given that I've hit the below clubs, clearly I'm willing to try anything regardless of appearance.

thick top lines with irons. align grips. stiff in the grip soft in the tip golf shafts. deep face fairways. toe that wants to fall open or closed when resting on the ground.

If it’s some weird looking thing, I’ll probably avoid it. Just be standard-ish and work and I’m fine

Anything White on Clubs.. Specially Taylormade

Glossy head on a driver is a hard pass.

Color for me. Doesn’t even need to be muted, ok with loud, if I like the look of it.

Too much good gear to settle for an ugly to you club

I was a big no turbulators guy then I played a PING all last year... so maybe anything I can get used to if I let it settle in.

Although if it sounds like a PING G425 or Nike SQ then it would need to be a hard pass!!

What, you don’t like being the center of attention at the range?

I was in the bay beside a guy with a G425 once and it actually started to hurt my ears after a while.

I'd need to get a lot better with driver before wanting to be the centre of attention!

If the driver head looks like an elongated round-edged triangle, it better be really, really good for me to even think about hitting it.

At the range? I've been on the course and heard people hitting them 3 holes away.

"CLANK!"

"Hmmm, somebody's hitting a Ping over there on #8!" :ROFLMAO:

To this point it’s been red faces and really upright appearing. Haven’t seen the Mizuno tj judge for myself.

Sound with driver, i dont care much else with driver unless it is some super funky shape.. too much offset with irons and hybrids. I shouldnt care but boy do I.

If a driver sounds anything like an aluminum baseball bat hitting a softball on impact, that's a deal-breaker for me.

I gotta hear a solid, satisfying "TWACK!" on impact...not "CLINK!" or "TINK!"

Yeah Ping sound and turbulators are a hard pass for me

Soft, muted feeling and sounding drivwrs. They don’t have to be loud but I want to know I hit something.

It's difficult for me to get past the sound if it's bad. Large part of the reason the Elyte driver didn't stay in my bag.

Feel and sound do bother me. Clicky irons and wedges are up there.

I hate super super loud drivers. I think when I hit the G400 driver for the first time I needed earplugs

It takes a lot to bother me with clubs, but the G425 driver did it. It sounded like I was stomping on a Coke can every time I hit a shot. I didn't even realize that a golf club could make that sound.
