If you are lenient and allow 270 yards to be considered a bomb...then yes. I’m a scrambler so I swing as hard as I can each and every time I’ve got the driver in my hands. I’ll figure out the 2nd shot after giving my driver the ol’ steroid jerk.

Swinging the bomb is not for everyone even though some step up to the tee and think they should bomb it. I was watching one dude on a muni, sort of a husky man. He stepped up to the tee box on a dogleg right and when he hit the ball sounded like a rifle going off. It appeared as though he was going straight for the pin and over the trees. He scorched it off the tee, however, it was as gone as gone could be and was a total waste. It was fun to watch though
