The golf cart world is expanding faster than most people realize. From personal carts used on the course to vehicles to cruise around the neighborhood. At the same time, music on the course as well these neighborhood rides is at an all time high with many cart companies offering speakers installed at the time of purchase.

After market was not much of a solution so most enthusiasts opted for small blue tooth speakers that fit into a cup holder or dash. Until now. While making our way through the PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando, FL in January, a booth caught our eye. EcoXGear showing off the latest in sounds with a product lineup they call SoundExtreme. Let me first say that their products are not golf cart specific, and can be used on everything from boats to off road vehicles and everything in between.

I think one of these is a must-have if you have your own cart. Would love one for boating too.

These are some serious speakers. While awesome without having a cart to just drive around the neighborhood and blast music I can't see any practical everyday use for them. Waaay too much for the course in my opinion and I am one who enjoys it on the course. Price tag is a bit prohibitive as well.

500 watts of sound seems like a lot for the golf course!! WOW

Definitely geared to those with golf carts and as that segment continues to grow at a crazy rapid pace, this is a really good option.

It looks like a great option for someone with own cart. Certainly powerful options although personally I am more for quality and clarity of the sound vs Db levels.

Great looking speaker. We have used things similar on Offroad buggies for sometime. Will be interested in one in a year or so once I order a new cart. What is battery draw on cart with this installed.

Minimal. And obviously you could always go with the option outlined in the article that has none.

Reminds me of some of the options for boats I used to install in FL. I think if you use a cart for daily use this is a must.

I hope they sell a ton , then rules will have music banned from courses. If people need to listen to music while playing on a golf course , … be mature and respectful and always wear ear phones , it’s not always about you.

Lots of golf carts are used for non-golf things.

See these on quite a few golf carts in our area and they put out some sound.

This wpiuld be so cool for driving the Community and to other social functions around the HOA, I could go watch fireworks and play the 1812 overture on my cart.....!

A couple nice options right there and don't think it's a bad price at all for what it can do. Especially for those that have carts for getting around town/community.
I would have to turn it down so I could see when in tight spaces though 😜.

Looks like a really nice sound setup. If I owned a golf cart and lived in a community where I was spending a lot of time in it, I'd definitely have one of these in it!

Price is actually a lot less than I was expecting for a soundsystem like this

I cannot say enough good things about the sound that this speaker puts out.

Not sure I showed the lights.
