Electric Push Cart Setups

Alphard cybercart. Easily the best electric pushcart on the market. Folds up nice and small for getting to the course. Incredibly balanced and stable. The wheelie bars saved me from tipping the cart more than once.

Alphard V2 has been a huge thing for me the past two seasons! I went from Nitron to TriSwivel II because it handles a lot better. But now that there's a new Nitron 360 coning, I'm likely to change back to that one!

I have the pro-package for the V2, but haven't installed it yet. Supposed to make assembly and disassembly much easier.

Cybercart and Volt have my eyes on them if I do need to change at some point.

Pro package is a lot easier. Just swing out the wheelie bars and you are done.

Yeah, I'll install them before the season starts here. A bit too much snow for my liking right now 😂

I'll be following along with this thread. I have been considering the move to an electric for the past few months. My boss got one and he tells me every time he plays how much better it is.

Consider a follow me cart. You are going to spend the money anyway, might as well get one that can be remote controlled and excels at simply following you.

Consider the Axglo E5 as your numero uno choice.

What are you using?

It is time for me to either convert my BagBoy cart to the Alphard V2, or I need to sell a kidney and get something else I think, I'm loving the walk again, but I don't want to push anymore haha

So, I ask THP'ers, what are you enjoying in this realm, and why?
Had the V2 for a long time, bough it shortly after we did the Mizuno Experience in Pawley's Island - loved it, but not the set up, just got tired of all the parts. Finally, black Friday sale I moved to the MotoCaddy M7 Remote, really like the all in one piece (2 if I use the seat) set up and it fits neatly in the trunk of my car (yes, car, not SUV). It's not perfect, but it checks all the boxes for me. Glad I have it and won't look back or wonder did I get the right one.

I do still have to adjust the front wheels - but I haven't been motivated to do that yet. May wait for my man @AuzzieMatt to come visit and see if he'd do that for me - why, yes, I might be on the lazy side here.

I want 2 things.. to walk more rounds and an electric push cart 😂

I found an older batcaddy x4r for 50 bucks. The guy claimed the remotes didn't work, but they ended up just needing to be paired. I replaced the older SLA battery for a LiFePO4. Which made it way lighter and holds a much longer charge.

It has some downsides, sure - but for 100 bucks all in, I used it all last season. Total game changer! I don't ever want to go back to a push cart.

I'd keep an eye on facebook marketplace for something like that to pop up.

Buying new: If you really like your push cart it makes sense to to the Alphard, but I'd probably go with the Cybercart.

MGI also has a refurbished site and you can find some pretty good deals:

I'll sort you out.

I got the Volt the year it dropped and couldn't be happier with it.

It took some getting used to on how to operate and control, but once that happened it's been a breeze. Battery lasts almost two full rounds with selective manual pushing and it folds so easily.

Axglo E5.

Tried the M7. Tried the Zip Nav AT. Both nice carts but both were returned. I found the Axglo to be smoother on the controls and way more stable (no wheelie bar needed). It also tracks truer than either, even with the Zip’s gyro. Ive had it for a few years now and it’s great.

Even if you aren’t using the follow me mode - I use it maybe half the time - it’s still the better cart imo.

Alphard V2 with Clicgear 4. Love the set up.

Motocaddy M7

It's gotten loud over the years, storage is lacking, and it comes close to tipping (or tips) too often for my liking, but it's a solid cart overall and I'm happy with the purchase.

I've added a few rigged up modifications that have helped it become a bit more versatile (steel plate for rangefinder/towel magnet, Clicgear accessory clip for a storage pouch, rigged up ice chest).

Still rocking my MotoCaddy M7 and I can't recommend MotoCaddys enough.

Love love love my V2 with the sidekick feature. With the new Pro Upgraded click in system - it's even easier to use. It's the best money I've spent.

Just want to say here: we had BagBoy out for some product training last week, and I've never actually seen the Volt in person. This is probably one of the best engineered products I've ever seen from top to bottom. So perfectly thought out from every angle, HIGH quality, and most importantly, all of that is done for function over form, even though it looks beautiful in person.

I don't get anything if you buy one, I just wanted to share that the BagBoy Volt is an all world electric cart if you were ever looking for one.

I'm still on the M7 as it's been going real strong for me. I still hold out hope for a Volt someday.
The Volt not built for hilly courses and battery life an issue. Had mine for 18 months. Control board replaced under warranty. Great concept - light weight, but not the durability or stability of Motocaddy or MGI.

Batcaddy EVO II. Was a bag carrier up until the end of 2025 when I bought the EVO. Loving it so far. Very stable and easily collapses to fit in the back of my car. Hasn’t tipped over once.

Used a M7 for the first time yesterday. Maybe it’s me but using the remote around the course was not as easy as I thought it would be.

I have been researching this one. Like the lighter weight. Can you get a seat? I did not see it on website.

Yes, I have the seat and it is much more stable than others I have tried.

I have a V2 paired with an Tri-Swivel and a Cybercart and they are both great. One stays at our lake place and the other at my club in the Twin Cites but both are easy to transport in a trunk if that’s what you need. The V2 takes about 30 seconds to set up but is a bit lighter on the back being in two pieces. I have two batteries for both and get about 34 holes before they die.

Have MGI zip , Thai was a retiring present , by our team . ( Shocked I was to get gifted something like that )

Used on hillier courses or very lush turf .
Ordinarily use Clicgear unit .
