Water hazards are tough!
Went to the range last Sunday and was blasting my driver long and straight. Incredibly straight as a matter of fact, as in 9 out of 10 right down the pipe with a beautiful trajectory.
Back to the range last night and 1 out of 10 is straight and the remaining 9 are a combination of pulls, hooks, and snap hooks, some no higher than 10 feet off the ground. Tried to slow down my swing, shorten my backswing, and slow down my takeaway and that helped a little bit but not much.
Amazing how things can change in just 2 days! Had all the confidence in the world in my driver when I left the range on Sunday. After last night's session, I'm left wondering what the hell???
Such is golf.....
