F/TR Shooting

I'm thinking about getting back into competitive shooting and F/TR Class seems like it would be fun. Anyone ever shot in one of these matches?

I have a M700 VSS that will shoot 1/3 moa out to 800 yds but I haven't been able to try it at 1k yet. My bullets go transonic around 1250 yds so my rounds have plenty if speed to stay stable at that distance. I'm wondering if I should build a dedicated F-class rifle or just use the rig that I have now and just put some higher powered glass on top of it.

I used to shoot 3 gun tactical matches, but have never done f/TR. I used more generic weapons until I reached a level of proficiency then started upgrading. The specialty stuffed helped some but it was mostly about the guy holding the item...kind of like golf, actually.

I have thought about 3-Gun Matches but there are not many in my area or at least not that I am aware of.
