Hi Guys,

After some advice if possible please, hopefully just to put my mind at ease.

I recently bought a 2018 Scotty Cameron Futura 7M

Does anybody know if there were ever any fakes of these made?

I bought one off eBay, 2 small things that have made me think… the putter head is almost immaculate, barley looks like it’s a rolled a ball, but the grip is pretty worn. And 2 the shaft sticker is on slightly wonky

There is a serial number between the grip and shaft sticker

TIA

Thanks for your reply,

Great, I will email them now

You can check that serial with Titleist. Just know they reuse serials no they may say it could be one of a couple different models. But if some is careful with the head, cleans it, uses the headcover, it would surprise me to see a super clean head with a worn grip.

I always keep a cover on my putter when it isn’t rolling putts. I have many putters (it is a sickness) that look perfect but have a worn grip. The stickers could get wonky getting pulled in and out of the golf bag.

The best way to buy anything on eBay is to buy the seller. One that's been around a good amount of time, good to perfect feedback.
Someone who is selling something like this as a first sale, I'd keep looking for the seller described above.
