I drink after I practice.

My prefernece is all types of practice. I have a range in the backyard, a 15ft putting matt in the basement and a nice golf course with shortgame area across the street. I enjoy playing more but I like to practice more then I play.

Short game, especially greenside shots. So much room for creativity and it's fun, I never get tired of it.

my favorite thing is mid irons, usually 7 or 8.

I really like practice too. Favorite is hitting to various targets from maybe 25 yards out to about 140. All different lies and stances and finding ways to hit same targets with different clubs/trajectories etc... Love the creativity. Can do that for hours without getting bored.

Timing, rhythm and tempo. If I can keep those sharp, golf is fun to play (and practice).

I like hitting 50-80 yard approach shots to a 10 foot diameter practice green.

The short game area sets up well for this practice routine.

A very, very close second is hitting balls off awkward lies.
