Finn Scooters: A Brand Story

Is there concerns with these in wet conditions? I've seen some carts do complete 360's going down a hill when the grass is wet, scary stuff
I have used it in some pretty wet conditions and not had any issues, at least no more so than a regular cart and the weight being so much less, the course stress is significantly better.

@JB this might be the greatest article ever written on THP! It was engaging and super informative. I can’t see how anyone would not want to test a Finn Scooter after reading this.
Thank you. That is held in high regards as we have some tremendous stuff from the writing staff, but much appreciated and glad you enjoyed it. We try and do something a bit different with the brand stories and I am glad it helped you.

looks like the "find a Finn" is accurate. A quick call to the pro shop said no Finn's
Bummer, thought they had something like that then

Man, no dice within 100 miles of here. I'm surprised the casino-linked courses haven't added some by now.

Classic and fun.
Now my daughter wants one…and not for golf.
Your obsession to try out and share new things with THPers is evil sometimes.

That’s smart and teaches her pace of play right out of the gate.

Great article and backstory, I have used one onetime and really enjoyed the experience. I would definitely do it again when playing solo if available, if playing with a friend I like chatting in the cart.

The FinnScooter is a great product for the golf course. Highly encourage everyone to try one. The biggest downside for me is that it is limited to 15 mph top speed. This is ok for the golf course but slow for a golf course community. The Finn scooter is my first choice but because of limited top speed o went with an alternate product that has a top speed of 20 mph.

Great read….exciting story. I’d like to give these a test sometime.

I can definitely see that part of it. Our golf cart goes 30 and Finn was 15. Although golf cart was more LSV and less golf cart, but totally get that point. I do think as more and more communities develop for LSV options, especially in FL, we will see Finn take a step with more speed.

Absolutely LOVE Finn scooters. We have a course an hour and a half from me that I play a few times a season and I always get one. Helps that they have a large fleet of them. I actually played once with an older couple that had older looking ones. I knew about Finn so I asked them about them. Apparently they were related to someone who worked there and they've had the prototype since it came out. Was really interesting to hear. And they were an older couple like I said and they had ZERO issues with it. The only reason people don't use these is resistance to change like the article mentions. Give them a shot and you won't be anywhere close to disappointed!

Great work as always JB!

Very cool read!! Neat to learn more about Finn Scooters. Really like the idea of these and really want to get one at some point. Think it would be a lot of fun and functional.

Find a Finn shows the home course has them. Sounds like another round down there needs to be planned!

Always love the brand stories. Thanks again for doing these!

Have some boards out this way but no Finn's. Would definitely rent one if available. They look so fun.

Jack Frost had em so gave one a go. Was fun. Played well. Had to run it down 9 fairway which is 100 foot drop. Ha20220630_144648.jpg

The Finn has made it to FL and needs to hit the course soon.

Nice. What did you do with your membership in TN? Are you getting another one back in FL?

We had to cancel our club membership there, due to proximity and there isnt a Club Corp course nearby that was close enough. We have toured a few clubs that there could be an interest in and of course are members now of Dormie Network.

Nice. The Dormie network seems like such an awesome deal. YOu need to see if they allow the Finn then get a hauler for your car to carry it around.
