My first ever, official, round of golf was at Shepard AFB in Wichita Falls TX. I hacked my way to a 127. What was yours?

Haha, I have no idea. It was in the 1970s. I'm not sure I formally kept score back them. I can't recall. Maybe a billion, or 120.

No idea what the score was since it was back around 1973 but it had to be north of the century mark since I was around 8, was at Woodley Country Club

My first round was at Lake Park in Lewisville, TX. I don't have a clue what the real score was. I didn't know penalties existed, so when I hit one in the water I just put another one down and called it number two. Using that method I shot a 112, but I probably lost more than a dozen balls.

Was at a little executive course in destin,fl. Also the only round I ever played left-handed.

Lakeside Hills in Olathe, KS. Shot 72. We played nine holes.

First full 18 hole round was at Forest Park in Queens NY. I was about 14 and shot over 120

76 for nine holes at Rolling Acres in Beaver Falls, PA in 1977.

First round was 2 9s at a par 31 executive course. Wish I could remember the score!

Mine was Mountain Home AFB in 1990 or 1991 and I shot a 132.

been a long time, but i think my first round was at rancho park golf club in LA. have no idea what i shot but i'm sure it was >100.

Deep River golf club outside of Greensboro NC, they turned it into an industrial park a few years ago. I shot well over 100, but I hit a couple of shots flush and I was hooked.

First round ever on a big course was at Rockland Lake State Championship course back in NY. Can't recall score but I'm sure the 130's to be a strong possibility.

West Sayville on Long Island. Around late Sept. 1974 (I was 13). My Dad played in his usual Saturday morning group for a few years and wasn't a very good player to be honest. He would generally shoot around 110. He had a swing that was a combination of chopping wood and digging a grave. BUT- the previous year he took me to the range to give it a try. I liked it immediately when my first swing with a 7 iron off a tee went about 135 after his "instructions". He would drop me off at the range to practice when he went out a few times that year. Following year I went more often to the range, and I took a free "clinic" put on by the Town of Islip at Brentwood for a few weeks. Mostly just practicing and then playing 3-4 holes before it got dark with the 'pro' to learn course management and etiquette. As I mentioned my Dad finally agreed to let me go out with him and my Grandfather later on a Saturday afternoon at West Sayville. He shot his usual and I picked my way around to a 96. My Grandfather was a stickler, so there weren't any mulligans. So I can't share the pain of those who can't break 100 because since then I never shot over it. Within 2 years I regularly broke 90, and by the time I was 17/18, I regularly broke 80.

And through all the years playing with my Dad until he couldn't play anymore he never beat me. I think he was a bit perturbed at that but at the same time was extremely proud of how well I played because of his insistence that I learn to play the game the right way before letting me out. Probably to keep me from getting discouraged and hating the game.

No clue on score but my first round at a regulation course at Carmel Highlands in San Diego which I learned closed a few years back sadly.

First round ever would have been the local muni back home, Pitcheroak Golf Course. As for score, no idea. Probably 100 odd over 9 holes LOL. I remember my first birdie. It's because I chipped in on the first. I also remember my second birdie. It's because I chipped in on the second straight afterwards LOL (I also unbelievably chipped in on the 3 but it was to save something like a double or a 7).
