ME: no I said right
PARTNER: I am looking right
ME: No I mean RIGHT OF RIGHT

So, how did I get that far right? 2 years ago I was a hooker, or a baby draw, now, I am so far right sometimes I am in the rough of the neighboring hole….. but in the FAR side! (And I don’t mean the cartoon strip)

Yes, I already took a lesson, and I was told what I already know- I need to control the club face! DUH
Problem is, “Easier said than done”

I have watched the videos, read the training books, bought the training aids (WOW have I bought training aids)

I am at a loss. In 2020, I was hitting 70%+ of fairways, now, lucky to hit 15%! 🤯

any thoughts? Help? Ideas?

Anything said would be an ABSOLUTE guess without seeing your swing. Can you post one?

Let me try and get that accomplished.
During my lesson my instructor said a few things:
You have a big turn
Your hips are very fast
You need to slide first before you complete your turn on the downswing
Your hands are late getting the club head down
Club face is not getting back to square

will work on some videos. Head on and down the line I would guess??

Try swinging at, say, 80% of where you are currently at. Might allow things to synch up a little better and get a better quality strike.

It’s the one thing that helps me tremendously, when I get a case of the Rights.

Worth a shot, without contemplating a complete overhaul of your swing.

I hit one drive offline on Saturday... made my only birdie of the day from the adjacent fairway to the right.109 to the pin, stuck to 8 feet and drained the putt.
