So I am looking to possibly change my wedge setup for 2024. I need forgiveness so what's everyone's favorite? Callway CB, Cleveland CBX, or something else?

I love my CBX2 52* so the new CBX Zipcore is definetly in the running. Just wondering what else is out there to try?

The Edison 2.0 is surprisingly forgiving for a wedge with a player’s look. Will it match something like the CBX? No. But if you like the traditional wedge size and shape it’s a solid option. Steep price point but value is an individual thing.

The Edel wedges would also be an option with the movable weights making it able to be more easily tailored to your swing, but I don’t have first hand experience with them…yet.

Cobra SBx. I have the 48 and 52 and love them.

Mizuno has a CB offering as well

If you're looking at the forgiving, yeah its the CBX's or the Cobra snakebites...

The CBX4 are pretty darn good. Not sure how forgiving you would consider the Edel SMS wedges, but they are fantastic.

I switched from a mix of S23 and T22 last year to all S23 this year, Definitely give them a try @pumbaa, I love them personally.

I’ve been using Taylormade Hi Toes for the last year and I absolutely love them

Cobra didn't even cross my mind. This is why I like THP.
Right on. It's so easy for people to look at the companies they think are wedge companies and overlook some fantastic wedges. In the past, I thought wedges should be Cleveland or Vokey. Through experiences and the discussions we have, THP has really broadened my horizons on golf equipment.

I got the CBX Full Face 2 (54* & 58*) from the Srixon Experience last year. I can't see myself replacing them any time soon. I struggle w/ wedges and these are easiest to hit I have ever played. Maybe it's the confidence inspired by the full face grooving but they are fantastic.

Second vote for the Edison 2.0. Very forgiving, and you get a 30 day playability guarantee.

I have one of those in 52* and it's been very nice and very forgiving.

Definitely give the Cobra Snakebite-X wedges a look. I played the CBX2 prior to getting into the Morgan Cup and I was shocked at how good the SBX wedges are.

Ping 4.0 Glide, RTX 6

I found the Cleveland CBX Zipcore easy to hit

Cleveland CBX's will spin the hell out of the ball to go with great forgiveness. They are quite durable as well, the heat treat the grooves which means even if you play as much as I do you can get a couple seasons out of them.

Played the Callaway CBs last year and they are pretty forgiving, while offering pretty good spin and solid feel. They helped me eliminate a lot more of my typical chunked wedge. I had a harder time manipulating the face around the greens with them, but for a stock chip or pitch shot, they were pretty solid and made the short game a little easier.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE my CBX wedges they are awesome.
I did try the new Cleveland Smart Sole chipper and that thing was Stupid easy and I couldn't chunk one even when I was trying to.

I have the CBX and love them, but the Cleveland Smart Sole is next level... it's changed my garbage sand game like nothing else...

Cleveland CBX Zipcore
Cleveland Smart Sole
Edison wedges
Callaway MD CB
Cobra Snakebite-x
Tour Edge Wingman
Or a set matching GW, SW, LW

Recently switched my SW and LW from CBX to S23 this winter. I always thought the bigger cavity wedges would be more forvgiving but I'm a sweeper and found I'm getting crisper contact and better turf interaction with the smaller S23. Also finding much better versatility around the greens with D and C grinds.
