Full tourney weekend coming up

Last night, I went into my club's site to book weekend tee times for me and the Mrs.

Saturday morning is booked for Stroke Play Championship. Damn, missed my chance to sign up. Sent an email to club pro. And bingo bango bongo, I'm signed up. Sweet. So Saturday AM and Sunday AM, I will be doing this.

Monday is next round of the Golfweek Amateur Tour for me.

Looking forward to getting it done!

Yeah, there are different flights, based on tees and handicap. Only Blue, Gross, can be club champ, but that has nothing to do with me or my game. I will be competing in White, Net.

Round 1 in the books.

Reasonable 92, but 15 holes were much better than that. Had a triple and two doubles, on the par 5s, where I would expect to be 1 o 2 over on these holes.

My fairway woods and hybrids were not performing well, as the pics show. Trying to swing too hard. Foolish.

My playing partner was a really nice guy and we hit it off. Will be playing with him and his wife with @LoffKat some time soon.
