Picked up a PS5 for my son for Christmas but he keeps asking for a gaming PC. Anyone know if you can find something in a box store for around $500-600 that isn’t complete junk ? Just don’t have the time to build something.

It’s been a while for me but a good general practice for gaming PCs is to buy the best video card you can afford and build around that. Even a mid level card can cost well over $300 so $600 all-in may be tough. The plus side of that is you could always get a budget PC today and add a better graphics card later. Also depends on what games he’s wanting to play. With the bottom falling out of crypto you may be able to find a decent used card someplace like eBay, just know that those cards have led a very hard life.

I game when I have the time with family obligations. Have played my whole life. Had to get rid of my custom water cooled tower some years ago.
