Gas Prices: What are you paying?

tracking device on your gas tank, when it's near empty prices go up, when it's full prices go down

$1.569 per litre

Wasn't pleased when I drove past the station Thursday and it was 139.9/L, and then $1.569/L twenty five minutes later when I went to get gas.

Paid $2.61 here today at home.

Close to $4 a gallon in PHX these days... not a fan. This may be the most depressing thread on THP. First post mentioned on this thread mentioned under $2/gal. I can't remember the last time I saw anything like that.

From looking back through the thread, it looks like right around late 2019 - early 2020.

We've seen gas prices rise about 25 cents a gallon since November here in Pennsylvania. I kind of expected that. The Biden Administration drew down the Strategic Petroleum Reserve and got some short-term concessions from a couple of countries in the Middle East which hit the market the second half of 2024. So there was bound to be some rise after the election.

Nothing like what you are seeing in California. But as you may know, you had gas taxes take a significant step up at the beginning of 2025, and with the special blend the state requires, that can only be made in refineries specifically set up to produce that blend, you've got some big disadvantages that are different than what people experience in the other 49 states.

Gas is generally about $1 to $1.50 a gallon higher in California than what we see here in Pennsylvania. It sounds like you've returned to the upper end of that delta, which makes sense with the recent gas tax hike.
Keep politics off the thp forum.

Definitely going up around Louisville, KY. Been solidly over $3/gallon for the first time in over a year since mid-December.

They opened a new BJ’s club about a mile from a Sam’s club here in Brooksville FL a couple weeks ago. Haven’t filled up there yet but I saw $2.93 on the sign a couple days ago. Hoping we will benefit from a price war between them lol.

4.20 gallon regular in Ventura at costco or the cheap station. Name brand stations 4.50 and up. Premium 5.00 + a gallon

Washington: $4.59/gal... Chevron. Then I take my .40/gal Safeway discount that takes some of the sting out. I know I could go to Costco, but I can actually tell when my car has Chevron gas in it vs. Costco. It's that finicky.

2.99 this morning

In my town it's 3.29/gal.for Regular. 93 Octane is 4.89 / gal. I was out of town over the weekend (which put me in another county) and saw Regular for $2.99/gal.

CT has a bizarre Zone Pricing plan... that sets the price from Distributor to the filling station based on a number of arcane factors. The area i'm in is always among the highest gas prices around... honestly, i'm almost surprised it isn't more.

Cheapest around here $2.49 where I filled up yesterday. More typical is $0.30 higher.

$2.419, at two stations last night. Three other stations across the street were $2.679.

As of 2/25 in Southern Nevada we are still paying well over $3.60 a gallon for regular unleaded. Yesterday I saw several Chevron Stations advertising $3.999 per gallon.

Im paying $3.679 per gallon, which also includes an $0.11 cent discount.

North Texas - $2.63 and fluctuates upwards from there... same as it did before Jan 20.

$3.01 here right now

Anyone seeing changes? Seems we are going up around here. Up to 3.49 in PA by me.

$2.60-$2.89

$3.32 for premium

We are sitting at $1.159 per litre right now for regular, after a drop from 1.189
