Going lighter grip?

I need to re-grip the iron set soon. Thinking about experimenting with lighter grip. I never really gave a serious thought about weight of the grip since I’ve always been using tour velvet. Figure why mess with things I know it works.
Has anyone experiment with lighter grip like 25g or similar?
What’s your thoughts on them?

Changes the balance...swingweight is increased...best to stay close to what you have in weight/grams

Yep, swing weight is impacted. Increase a SW point for every 5 grams of grip weight decrease and decrease a SW point for every 5 grams of grip weight increase. So if going from a 45 gram grip to a 25 gram grip, the swing weight of the club will increase 4 points. Matters to some, doesn't really matter to others.

Thanks for input.
I get that it changes the swing weight but I mostly concern about total weight of club. Some say it matters more.
