I have 3 7woods but much prefer my Mizuno hybrids because I find hybrid easier to hit...

It really is just that in many cases. Golf is hardly unique in having generational differences.

The idea of golf clubs and balls having model year designations as if they were automobiles seems completely normal to younger people, some probaby even assume it has always been that way. To many over 50, it's one of the more silly phenomenon in golf equipment.

This thread is dangerous because "not understanding a craze" is taken by some (overly sensitive maybe?) people as "what you do is stupid". The real danger was avoided though....for a second there I thought it was going to turn into a bicycle thread.

Within the first 5 posts I was already doing donuts in people's lawns. Joggers, multiple putters, Swag and Hatch headcovers, transfusions and Fireball 🍻

A friend in my group didn’t realize my irons were One Length until we played Sunday. He called them gimmicky. Guarantee he ends up with a set soon.
