Golf craze you just don’t understand

So many other great ideas from everyone but I am totally with you on the putter thing. I just don't get it. I will never be one to collect putters.

It's something that has baffled me as well. How do you get used to a putter if you are rotating so much? I currently have 3 now, but 1 is from a special event and the other just got replaced and haven't moved it or decided if I'm moving it yet, lol.

Distressed wrought iron with small bits of rust? Yeah that doesn’t look terrible depending on the amount. There are limits to it all. But the wedge I just bought for when my current one becomes too old? Raw finish, designed to rust.

SWAG. I just don't get the attraction of skulls and sunglasses on head covers, putters, golf bags, etc.

Hahahaha I’m ok with it, although as the temperatures creeped up in our round on Saturday I thought the guy I was playing with pants were shrinking as more ankle started to show throughout the round then it was a calf the next hole. 😂
 
In the spirit that @Templet0n intended, I have no hate but don't understand Swag gear, headcover and putter collecting in general. If you like it, great, just not my scene.

Loudmouth, which may sound weird coming from me, but I just don't get their stuff.

With you here. Not so much putters as a whole but fawning over the latest iteration of the Ping Anser from the next Scotty Cameron in waiting is what baffles me. Yes, the finish is flawless and the machining is impeccable - but…

But the great thing is I can just shrug and move on to something more interesting to me. Golf is great because it has something for everybody.

My neighbor invites me all the time to play the course in our subdivision, it’s $108 for the round. My course is $119 a month for unlimited walking rounds, $19 for a cart.

It's not the drink that sucks, it's the (majority of the) fans that make it suck hahaha
 
My mantra of you do you applies here- What anyone else chooses to spend their money on is of no significance to me! Enjoy!

For good golf or for any golf? Cause that is brutal for the cost of some of the green fees you pay based on previous posts.
 
People can do whatever they want - I've read a few "you do you posts".

I don't get:

Joggers
Flat billed caps
Rope hats
overpriced niche brands (swag was mentioned a few times)
