I’m currently looking to buy my first golf practice net to use in the backyard. I can afford something In the $100-$200 price range. Does anyone have any recommendations?

I was looking at the Amazon basics and the Go Sports nets recently but saw some negative reviews of the net ripping. What do you guys think?

I have no recommendation, but I was reading something along those same lines. People said that they doubled up the net to prevent ripping through. Buy an additional fine mesh net and place over the one it comes with to help it out. That and use those wiffle or light weight balls maybe?

The Rukket Portable Driving Range is in your budget. It’s nice and sturdy with good netting. I bought one with the intention of using in a garage sim, before I realized that it really works better when staked down. Rukket has other styles as well in the same price range.

I’ve bought a NetReturn Home Net since, but I still have the Rukket too since it was way too heavy to ship back. I’m actually looking to sell it, but only for local pick up in the Portland, OR area. Feel free to send me a DM if you’re local and interested.

RukkNet makes a solid product, I believe @ddec reviewed one in the past?

thanks these actually look like it would be perfect, unfortunately went to check out and no shipping to Canada

I’ve been using the Spornia practice net and I like it a lot. I tend to leave mine up for long periods and the wind can be an issue. With the Spornia, you can easily drop it down during windy days and keep it from trying to blow away without having to take it all apart. It’s a few dollars over your budget but well worth it in my opinion.
