This was some of the most fun I’ve had watching golf in a long time. A lot of people complain that the fed ex cup feels like it’s fake/ drummed up intensity and importance by the PGA. However I love the set up right now and you could tell the emotion from DJ and Rahm right there was not fake AT ALL. Even the Mackenzie Hughes saga was fun. Even though the importance of this event is due to the globs of money they give out it still provides some damn good golf. I can’t wait til next week.
By the way I loved the roars on 18. I agree with others, those 30 people sounded like 100. However, today I really missed the fans again. The only other time I really missed them was the showdown between JT and Morikawa. Those roars on those putts today would have been deafening.
