Golf Shaft Pondering Thread

Nippon Shafts
Among the more recent I have a current fascination with the following:

Hzrdus Yellow Gen 5
Both of the new Kinetixx shafts
PX Titan

Related but somewhat separate, I want to grab a driver shaft in the 70 gram x stiff range, to test out some swing thoughts and theories I've been ruminated on lately

Supposed to be a fast, great feeling, and very stable shaft for it's weight.
 
Really intrigued by Titan. Really going through FOMO with Power Core. Kind of want to jump back in with a Yellow.

One thing is for certain, the JPX is going to be a weapon for me this season
 
I’d really love to try TPT iron shafts. I’m afraid I would really love them. At almost $300 a shaft…I have to stay away

Why is the ping tour chrome 2.0 shaft so fckin awesome

Im using a 6s on my cobra adapt max k driver and the 85x on my 4 5 6 7 h

Its just like the perfect feeling shaft

I had a 7 iron test club built with the TPT iron shaft after demoing one in January. After a few weeks of use I saw enough positive things to go ahead and order the rest of the set.

The rest of my iron set with TPT 16 HI shafts were built yesterday and should be in hand in a week or so.
 
I love my TPT driver shaft. Who are you having your set built through? What iron heads? I’m flabbergasted by the price, but the performance sounds incredible from everything I see on Foreward golf.

On the advice of a trusted friend, I am now contemplating a Ventus Black w Velocore+, this joins the Titan, Powercore, and Kinetixx SyrgeX in the rent-free space in my mind reserved for golf shaft pondering

Saw online where I can grab a LinQ Red 6f5 for a pretty good price, now that the powercore has released. That has me pondering a particular tinker I've wanted to tinker. Hmm...
 
  • UST Mamiya Powercore (something) for driver
  • Ventus TR Blue for driver
  • Ventus Velocore+ Red in a fairway
  • GD AD-FI in driver
  • Something in the TPT shaft realm
Those are the current ponders. In reality I need to do another fitting in the near future and see what works, after quite a few swing changes.

In all seriousness, the old standby Tensei Blue range would probably perform just as well. But that's less fun.
 
another option for driver. something very stable with a smooth ei curve, not something that's stiff in one section and soft in another. maybe i'll try to find something in the powercore line.
 
Im having an odd desire to throw some PX rifle 6.0’s in my LIMIT3Ds.
 
I have a Mizuno adaptor and need to decide what I’m putting it on.

LINQ White M40X and Hzrdus Black are sitting right in front of me and either would be an easy choice. Picking one, I would probably go with the Black.

But also, I want to dabble with something new like Titan or Powercore.

This is going to be fun at least

There’s no shortage of Mizuno adapters out there 🙃
 
Potentially pondering the following driver shafts:

Ventus Black Velocore+
Diamana WB
AD VF
PowerCore White
 
Pondering some steel iron shafts for these new iron sets I’ve got coming because I’m bored I guess? Haha

iSteel Green? Then also I’ve been pondering Nippon pretty hard?

Of course, I also have a new set of Darts here too.
