Had a chance to head out west to Alberta for a week and that included getting to play some courses with the nicest views in the country.
First up was Silvertip. Beautiful mountain course that literally plays up and down the side of a mountain in Canmore. Views were incredible.

The next day we went to play Kananaskis. They have 36 here and I would have loved to play them both unfortunately they were so booked.

We were staying in Canmore, and snuck into Banff for a quick 9 at the Fairmont Banff course

And finally a round at the Canmore Golf and Curling club. Again, beautiful course that pics don’t do justice.

sorry for the spam of pictures. Some of the most beautiful golf views that Canada has to offer. I was blown away compared to what I’m used to around Ottawa, Ont. Hope you enjoy!

Post more if you have them! Those were beautiful! I need to get out there someday.

stunning!

Those are some amazing views!

There is no need to apologize! In fact we'll happily take more pictures if you have them.

I've heard lots of things about Silvertip but will probably never have the opportunity to play it, so anything more you want to show off if just fine.

Having played and photographed courses in BC, it is a shame that the camera doesn't do the scenery justice.

I personally think that Kananaskis has the best courses in the region. Definitely don't want to miss it.

Beautiful pictures. I've stayed in Canmore before, but it was peak ski season. Different views then!

glad this got bumped! gorgeous course and mountains!

Thanks for the pics. 20220729_152612.jpg20220727_192415.jpg20220727_155933.jpg20220726_160414.jpg
Such a beautiful area and courses. I was there a few weeks ago as well. Played Banff, Silvertip, and Stewart Creek.

WOW, so awesome to see those kind of views when you're golfing. Almost makes golf secondary. I said almost....
