GrayBull hole # 3

It is crazy to say, I think this is an average hole for this course. Some are just.... wow..
I think that is a perfect description. Not gettable but not impossible. It does show a theme for the course though

Man, what a visual... looks like the answer for "what should I do?" is obvious and then you look more closely at what awaits you if you fail to hit your line and distance required to achieve that answer (which I'm sure the wind will have something to say about your plan...oof)

Visually just spectacular.

If I'm reading it right, 210 to carry the cross bunker means I'm grabbing driver and sending it unless there's a big hurting wind.

If I remember correctly, this hole was a cross wind because I think 4 and 5 play with the wind

Slightly cross towards in your face. It’s why there are a lot of thpers planning to carry it and have it open on the right might straighten that drive a bit haha

How wide is the landing area if you layup and then what are you left with to the green?

I see no reason not to get up and hit driver. Aim just left of the half way house let it fall back right just a bit.

It won’t matter you will be conceding the hole 🤣

I mean if conceding the 3rd hole gets me there sign me up.

Is there a direct correlation to what you get here and what you carded on hole 3 🤣
Yeah, if you card double or worse you get a runza because that hole runza’d you over

*budum tsss*

Was this your line?
I'll be aiming that way to fade it back.
My line was over the right bunker (don’t remember what club) hoping to fade it back but of course it drew.

Can we get a yardage from the green to the comfort station?😂

Looks a lot like hole 4 at my long time home course "North Bellingham" except we have a pond to cover if cutting the corner with "hay" further left of that. Sometimes I hit a hard draw with a 5w or 3i to more safely put it in the fairway, other times depending on the wind I hit driver. I really like the "risk reward" holes like #3 at Graybull and the one in the picture here. Hope you made par!

You better learn how to play out of the sand before you venture on Graybull. Whether it's greenside or longer fairway shots, learn em all.

what a visually intimidating tee shot

This hole looks crazy fun. It supports my miss too, which seems ideal. Also, looks amazing and lots of ways to take this on.

This hole is where the hooks started for me and I was eaten alive.

Anything in the fairway is fine, anything not in the fairway and you’re just going to be trying to get it out onto it. The pictures don’t really do it justice, as there is a lot of slope left to right, and anything left rough, the ball is below your feel, making for a treacherous shout out.
