GrayBull to this point as played fairly difficult but hole 5 is a very fun chance to potentially get a shot back. This short par 4 offers you a chance to play aggressive and go for the green.
The hole plays much shorter than the posted yardage and there is a very real chance for many to cut the corner over a large bunker.

While playing safely out to the left fat part of the fairway is totally an option. Especially if your opponent goes for it and executes poorly. Hole 5 is begging you to step up and go for it. The 215 carry number below is from the back tee so will play much shorter from the THP tees. Who will be brave enough to step up and hit a shot here? For those going for it. The bunker in front of the green and long through the fairway need to be considered as those can take your chances for a good score way down quickly.

By GrayBull standards the green is relatively tame. There is some slight undulation to keep it interesting but nothing too drastic. There is also not much in the way of trouble around the green again encouraging aggressive play.

Hole 5 is a great match play hole. It is a chance for someone to get aggressive and get a stroke back after potentially giving up a point or two earlier with a blow up hole. Or Watch your opponent botch it with a bad decision or execution and steal one back with smart precise conservative play. If it's me.. I am going for the green everytime!!
