I wanted to pause for a min so that we could all pay attention to the Srixon experience at Briggs. But we are back with a very difficult hole in front of us with hole number 6.
This is the #1 handicap hole that does not really offer very many breaks or easy outs. This lengthy par 4 makes you work for it from Tee all the way to the green.

Off the tee you are going to want to place your ball between the two fairly large fairway bunkers left and right of the fairway. I would suggest hugging as far right as possible. This will give you the best look at the green that is down in a hole tucked between two more bunkers. If you go left off the tee in the bunker, you might as well switch gears in your head and think of this as a par 5 and play to the right of the green. Going for the green from the left trash has the potential for a sky rocketing score on this hole.. Take your medicine and don't try for a hero shot. To me, if you are going to miss the fairway.. Miss to the right.

When I say the green is down into a hole. I mean it is down into a hole. From the fairway the green is about 20 feet down hill to the left. Use this to your advantage. This is were links golf can be super fun.. Use the contours to help feed the ball along the ground on to the green from the right rather than try and fly it on. Missing this green short, long, or left is going to again cause strokes to pile up.

The green is a bit of a bowl so everything will somewhat feed on. This is what I mean when I say use the contours. Try and enter the green from the right and let the ball funnel to the hole.

The green itself is not too crazy.. Once on, you will be faced with a relatively flat(ish) putt. It is just getting to the green that is the challenge on this hole.

I dont know what direction the wind will be on this hole, but you can bet it will be a factor. The tee shot is intimidating, and the shot to the green needs to be precise. The 6th hole is going to take some names and cause some casualties..
