On scale 1 to 10 what is your grip pressure. I’ve been known to struggle at times with putter. Stroke comes and goes. I beginning to think grip pressure could be a bi part of it. Currently I have no actual feel in the putting stroke. Speed control is atrocious. This is after having a stretch when putting was pretty damn good. Any thoughts on grip pressure. In an effort to control face I think I’m strangling the grip. Leading to no feel.

Taking this thought to the putt out mat last night and this morning seems to have confirmed my thoughts. Heading to the course shortly. Will see if practice area confirms my suspicions.

left (upper) 6 - firm but not hard
right (lower) 3 - about half whatever the left is doing

Firm enough to hold the putter. My I will say only exerting 2/10 for pressure.

I would say currently about a 3, however I have been playing around with the feeling of pulling my fingers together as opposed to overall grip pressure. Seems to lock that putter in my hands a little better without the feeling and gripping too hard...

I definetly have a mix of pressure between my two hands. I putt left hand low (as a right handed putter) and I like to take my left hand and "lock" my left thumb over the right edge of the grip which gives me an anchor point I can feel. So, in that finder specifically I would say the pressure is a 7 but in the remainder of my grip I would say it is a 4 or so. I've tried lighter grip pressure, and it made my hands too active

Left hand, conventional grip, firm like Steve Stricker 7/10, for face control. Right hand, light, probably a 3, for touch/sensitivity for speed control.

My grip pressure used to be really high, and I had lost all sense of speed control, and I really struggled lagging putts to within 3 feet.

The past 2 weeks I began really focusing first on developing a repeatable stance. Once I started getting confident with the stance, I began focusing on grip pressure. This is where my putting really began to improve. As I lessened my grip pressure, I went from needing toe hang to preferring face balanced putters. I wasn’t manipulating the face as much. My stroke has some what of an arc, so this goes against what putter companies say.

This led me to trying zero torque putters for the first time yesterday, and I absolutely fell in love with them.

My grip pressure would be 2-3 out of 10. Firm enough the putter isn’t moving in my hands, but light enough to not manipulate the face.

Mine has always been very minimal, like 3 at the most...but lately, I've been messing with my grip, trying different grips and holding club tighter in some ways.

It's been a disaster...I've never had the putting yips so bad, and I think a lot of it has to do with suddenly overthinking my grip with every single putt.

3 out of 10. Like holding a baby bird: tight enough that it doesn’t fly away but not so tight that you crush it.

Top 5-6
Bottom 2-3.

I would say the left is around a 5 and the right is around a 3.
Just firm enough to control the club and keep it under control.
It's not a full swing club, so it's not going to fly out of your hands during the swing.

A little firmer than anywhere else in the game. I've experimented with using a very firm grip while putting, with mixed results.

I'd say a 3. My putting style is kind of flowy. That's how I would describe it, at least.

I tend to get way too tight of a grip. I’d say probably about a 7-8 and it messes me up for sure. I saw a tip that said to do the thumbs off putting drill. I’d heard this with ZT putters but never anything else. I rolled some here on my mat and it seemed to help give me confidence in a lighter grip rolling well.
