Who has connected with a fellow THP member on here, then actually met in real life to play a round?

Most importantly, did you win? ;)
 
There are over 12 THP Experiences every year with THPers playing with and against each other.
There are countless get togethers held in our regional section with THPers getting togehter.
 
Many, many, many, over the last soon to be 16 years, and hopefully many more in the coming years.
 
Too many times to count.

This I know, and super excited to take part in. I was thinking more random individual connections.
 
I've met many through Experiences obviously. I've also met and played with several others. I never pass up a chance to meet a THPer.


Edit: I take that back. I totally avoided that one guy. 😆
 
Quite a few from events to "hey let's schedule something in the area". They definitely turn into friendships and I text with other THPers daily.

Never randomly, but it's always a good time!
 
The Colorado THP crew get together for a couple of rounds a year.
 
Not randomly. I’ve met some at THP exps and the Mid Atl meet ups I organize. We generally don’t do much competition though @E.Appleton and I did win a casual team competition the like one time we did. Next year I’d definitely like to a trip to a big gathering to meet some more and maybe see ones I haven’t seen in awhile.
 
Gotten together with local THP guys a bunch.
 
There are a few I have met fairly locally outside of THP events. It is always fun and makes for super easy conversation.
 
Yes. Not enough. There will be more.

Played with some THPers some years back from posting in THP. We played at Spring Creek golf course in Charlottesville, VA. It was an enjoyable time on a nice course. Oh, and yes, I had the lowest score with an 88 and still have the scorecard. I hope my health holds up and I get to meet and play with some THPers in 2026. Always a fun time golfing with great folks :)
 
Many many times.

I even had the joy of a truly random sighting. When two THPers from out of town were playing my course at the same time I was.

I don’t see it mentioned yet but Arizona has a full league of THP albatross club members.
 
As the only active member in Maine, I have no other "locals" around me to meet up with.

But, @Stryker was on vacation in Maine last year and we got together and played a round at my home course.
 
When I won my Golden Ticket, @CBaker was the first person to reach out to me because he noticed we were both from the same region. Turned out we were actually only like 2 streets apart! We took a few opportunities to play together prior to the Morgan Cup, and hopefully we’ll find some more this year too!

By being active on the forum, you will find out which forum members may be in your area. You can hopefully get together with them and play some golf. This year I drove two hours to play golf with a few forum members. I had never met any of them other than on the forum but it was like we were good friends getting together to play golf.
 
Yes. Obviously at the Morgan Cup, but also a couple of rounds in the months leading up to it. I hope to meet and play with those folks, as well as, meeting and playing with other new folks in the coming seasons.
 
@Dartgod won a foursome at a very nice course in KC, Creekmoor. He offered a FREE round for a foursome of THPers! Met him @TRyan and @Daddio and had a good time (golf score was not as good).

Ditto on the bad day scoring, but if I recall correctly, you had a near ace. Or was that one of the other guys?

I've met up with several THPers for a round of golf when traveling for work.
