I recently bought some white peaches and ate a ripe one from straight out of the fridge......goodness. Soooo good. I need to get some on the course in my next round.
 
I have been a big fan of the Robert Irvine Fit Crunch Peanut Butter protein bars lately. In fact, I switched to a new box of a different brand because Costco had them on sale, and I already miss the crunch of the Robert Irvine ones. They are darn tasty.

For a more on the go snack, I have really been into nuts lately (hold your jokes, I know what I just said. be an adult about it). I really like the Planters nut-trition energy mix which has these candied bananas in it that are delicious. but right this moment, I am always reaching for pistachios.

One thing I have done since college is let what is on sale dictate what I buy. that way, I do not spend a lot of time pondering, save a few bucks, and am usually eating something different pretty often. That's how I found the energy mix, and now its a go-to.
 
If you are a chip fan, but want to stay healthy, have you tried these? I was skeptical, but they are honestly really good. I really want to try the chicken and waffles flavor.

OMG please put those down haha. I love Robert Irvine. Those things are worse for you than a Snickers Bar by FAR! Eat the Snickers, its packed with Peanuts. Or as @fuffle master says, its packed with Peaniz...Because that sounded correct :ROFLMAO:

My pleasure! They have a great crunch to them, and are pretty well seasoned. Don't get me wrong, it's not a potato, but it's damn close in texture, crunch and seasoning to a real chip. I'm super picky about that stuff, and I really like them.
 
I wouldn't go overboard in calling my snacks healthy, but they could definitely be worse.

Right now I am obsessed with cashews, and kids clif bars.
 
It's typically almonds for me.
 
I used to always eat those. Then I read the ingredients. Its like eating a Snickers Bar, minus being as delicious.

Organic Brown Rice Syrup, Corn Syrup, Sugar, Modified Palm Kernel Oil, Skim Milk Powder, Whey Powder, Yogurt Powder

And those ingredients are in descending order by weight. Egad.

I really just enjoy a crunchy snack. But sometimes pita chips and stuff like that doesn't quite hit the spot so I opt for stuff with flavor/seasoning. These sound perfect!

Oh, then you will love these! The crunch is definitely there. I have had the Nashville hot (which are spicy, but delicious) and the salt and vinegar ones and really liked both. I need to get my hands on the chicken and waffles, but I haven't been able to find them anywhere.

What is so bad about them? I had no idea. In fact, I am down about 15 pounds from the time the fitness goal thread started, going under 190 for the first time in a while. I let you make fun of my golf shoes, but my Robert Irvine Fit Crunch may be where I draw the line :LOL:

Just simply the amount of ingredients that are in there that makes it barely a food item. Hell half of them I cant even pronounce haha.

Hold up, your mom didn't have a gallon of soy protein isolate in the fridge and a shaker of acetylated monoglycerides in the pantry like my mom did? I guess its is true that everyone grows up different after all.

Im a big fan of protein isolate, but I do not do any soy protein. Its pretty hard to digest.
But if its working, its working. I could live off protein bars, but some of these ones out there are literally crazy what is in them.

Good Culture cottage cheese is my new favorite brand. Super clean, and tight curds. I absolutely love it.

It's funny, I am really lactose intolerant, but for some reason cottage cheese doesn't really bother me. I am guessing it's all the live cultures like in yogurt. I tried the Lactaid cottage cheese, I didn't care for it, it was too runny. I like really tight curds.

Oh, and homemade peanut butter with local honey sounds amazing! I got some strawberry blossom local honey at the farmers market a few weeks ago and it's the best tasting honey I have ever tried.

I can pronounce them, but I've also been in the chemical industry for decades. Of the something like 38 listed ingredients in the Peanut Fit Crunch, "only" five are synthetic, and two of those are naturally derived: corn syrup, and sodium caseinate, the sodium salt of a naturally occurring protein. Of those, sucralose is a nonstarter for me. But I agree with you: do you REALLY need seven different protein sources and seven different sweeteners (including sucralose)?

When I was in New Zealand I could eat any dairy I wanted with zero effects.

If you can find, and stomach, Good Culture, I highly recommend it. It's super clean ingredient wise, and I think the best tasting I have found in the grocery store.
