I've been playing Callaway JAWS Raw wedges since I got them at The Grandaddy in 2022. Absolutely love them....but they've been playyyyyeeeed. lol. Their specs are listed in my signature. I don't plan on deviating from the following:

Degree / gapping
Prefer the RAW finish
Grinds that are geared towards versatility in the 56/60. I'd consider Ohio turf generally softish at the courses I play. The more spin the better.
Prefer a smaller profile.

I'm pretty agnostic on brand. In the last xxxxx years I've played Callaway JAWS, Vokeys, Cobra, Bridgestone, Cleveland

I like the look of vokeys and JAWS. Not sure I love the look of the new opus.

So, if ya have any suggestions.....based on that info I'm all ears.

PLEASE DONT JUST GIVE A BRAND. Give me a brand + finish + grind to look into.

Thanks!!!

My advice based on the above would be to wait a couple more months.

My suggestion…wait a bit since we’re so close to release season.

The funny part is that I have $325 in shop credit I need to use BEFORE THE END OF November

I e seen them in person. I definitely prefer the look of the JAWS for some reason. Not sure why.

Less rounded maybe?

Thank me later.

Just get some freshy jaws raws at a discount. Not a bad way to go.

100% agree with this. When you find a set of wedges that fit your preferences, stick with it. I keep going back to the Jaws Full Toes I got at the Grandaddy in 2021 because the heads are noticeably heavier (which I love) and I haven’t been able to find a replacement that matches them

I would say buy new Jaws wedges right now while they are on sale. You won’t miss a beat.

Do you like the look of the Snakebites? That could be an option too.

I love the wingman wedges probably not what you are looking for though. How about the edel wedges?

Actually yes. The last ones I had were these:

Haven't even looked into these. Will take a look. Also heard Bettinardi has wedges as well.

My "slight" issue with the smaller brands are the available bounce vs grind options

Shaping hasn’t changed all that much to the current iteration and the offer raw. Can confirm as you know the versatile grind works well in Ohio
Yes. Agreed.

I've "heard" several people tell me to just wait for the new Cobra release 👀

I know edel has a ton of options.

I would honestly start with cobra snakebites and swing them first. For me it's always seems to be Cleveland and vokey so dare to try something different and then go to the leaders and see how it compares.

Not sure we have enough time but let me know if you want to swing mine a bit for comparison.

I prefer the straight leading edge of the Opus.

Just get some more Jaws Raw at a discount and be done
